How To Wear A Shawl --
With just a few basic styling techniques you can transform a shawl from a simple piece of fabric to an eye-catching accessory in only a matter of seconds.
In this video, Very Pashmina stylist Yanira Garza teaches some easy-to-learn ways you can either tie or drape your shawl. So, follow along and you'll master the art of shawl styling in no time.
Needing a certain look for a specific occasion? Yanira demonstrates several ways to wear a shawl so you can choose your style accordingly, from simple looks you can throw on as you're running out of the house to spice up a casual outfit of jeans and a t-shirt, to bolder styles that you can wear with an evening dress for that big night out.
And it doesn't have to be complicated! In fact, often the most elegant looks for a shawl are the simplest ones. Just by letting a pashmina shawl drape naturally you can show off the beautiful weave of the fabric.

  • @thegreatlegend98 With styles like 10 and 4 where there's a lot of volume up top, we'd recommend keeping the bottom half sleek. So, yes, a straight skirt or skinny jeans would look great. We probably wouldn't go with a blazer over the shawl, as something too bulky would interrupt the drape of the fabric.

  • I am right handed I had a stroke that has left me paralyzed on the left. I have a large scarf or shawl beautiful periwinkle blue & black fringe on ends looking for ways to use this beautiful shawl given to me by my combat nurse daughter-in-law from Afghanistan I need to find ways to wear 1 handed

  • I really loved the tips! I'm an Express stylist, and I've been looking for some very detailed options for my customers. Two things though, the echoing and moments of only breathing sounds, caused the presentation to drag a bit, even with the great information being given. Secondly I would have loved to see this being done by the presenter, just to give it a look of being more effortless, than leaving you to think this is hard to recreate on our own. Just my opinion ^_^.

  • Plus my response wasn't directed toward the stylist but those who chose to have the absence of filler music so one can't hear "breathing sounds". Also to my second point, I was only stating a presentation option that would have made it better for ME to understand the different scarf positions. I've seen it done before- actually in a couple to the right of our posts.
