    • I'LL GIVE YOU A TIP..... it's doesn't work like that. let me give you an example of exactly what you're proposing to do... so... you think success is waking up at 5am. NO MATE because you have not supplied enough information Example you wake up at 5am and you go to sleep at 3am the next morning Now.. even though you are getting MORE HOURS IN THE DAY , you're gonna be fucked, because YOU CAN'T SUSTAIN IT ok.. so let's say you say... but martin, obviously your going too extreme yeah, ok so, let's then do this get up 5am and go to bed 11pm so....6 hours sleep, seems ok, doesn't it well..... NO... NOT EXACTLY you see, there's more to it than that here are other points to consider 1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO NORMALY NOD OFF TO SLEEP 2. WHEN YOU SLEEP DO YOU SLEEP HEAVY OR LIGHT 3. HOW LONG DOSE IT TAKE YOU TO GET INTO DEEP SLEEP ? Deep Sleep is where you have the most productive sleep FYI 4. 5am getup and 11pm bedtime... so 6 hours vs let's say.... 3am get up and 9pm bedtime still 6 hours in both accounts but...... THE DIFFERENCE IS ... SOME PEOPLE WILL RESPOND TO THE FORMER BETTER AND OTHERS TO THE LATTER so..... You need to find out a) How many hours YOU PERSONALLY actually NEED b) you need to find out what time of the morning you are most productive c) try to find a time slot that MAXIMIZES THE DAILY HOURS so that you get as much done as possible without having to wait for the world to wake up so you can be productive sometimes, waking up early allows you to focus because no one is interrupting because they are all asleep think about it so.. it's not enough to say , I'm gonna get up at 5am 5am doesn't work for everyone and if you find that you're really tired after trying to do it for a month... IT MEANS.. IT'S NOT YOUR SCHEDULE so.. don't force it play with the time frames a little adn figure out what works for you THAT'S A MUCH SMARTER WAY TO GO ABOUT IT

      @martinkuliza@martinkuliza4 жыл бұрын
    • @@jay.jay. this is true, but i think the confusing thing for some people is if you start from a non productive and lazy place and you wake up early, LIKE YOU SAID, by the time you get to 7 or 8am you feel tired again some people might interpret this as it being a wrong time slot for them and they'll go to be again THIS IS JUST LAZINESS you also need to account for transition from laziness to productive and people need to understand THEY NEED TO PUSH THEMSELVES TO A DEGREE. but, yes, if you get to a point where you don't need an alarm you have found your time slot it's best to speak to a doctor or psychologist about this and they can advise what is best for you it's also an interesting chat to have and they can advise you on techniques to use to be more prouctive

      @martinkuliza@martinkuliza4 жыл бұрын
    • @@martinkuliza Your math is wrong. 10x means 10x more than now, not a gradual 1x from the one before, even the original poster was clear about it :"10x harder as I am NOW", not 1x than now+1x than the last result+1x than the last result.. and so on. While your at it, why didn't you go with that logic not from 1x to another, but 0.1x to another? Even if I went with you (flawed) logic, I could have said instead of 30 minutes to start with , 0.0001 milliseconds. Even with your weird math, that would be achievable, so It's you who is talking crap without understanding basic logic, but trying to sound smarter than actually is. (edit): not to mention that if someone starts from 0(doing NOTHING) and go to barely washing dishes, that would be an infinite times increase in productivity.

  • Gosh... I feel like I’m at a real crossroads in my life rn... I think I need to redefine my personal definition of success And then determine what am I willing to sacrifice and what am I not willing to sacrifice... tough questions tbh... and sometimes I can get caught in a paralysis by analysis But like Elon said... the general goal is to be useful to provide for my family and make a difference in the world... and I think it also depends on your personal skills, abilities, and interests... Elon is one of the reasons I decided to study engineering... but I’m frankly not on his level and in my heart I’m not sure I’d be as useful if I tried to reach that level (sad, but true) I mean I guess you never know... Yes engineering is important but so is education and sustainability and I may not be the best engineer in the world, but if I made life easier for current/future engineers maybe that could make a bigger difference... Tbh I think education for engineers can be improved... (no criticism but there’s always room for improvement) and I like the idea of flipped classrooms where you learn didactic material before class through engaging educational videos to repurpose class time for higher level of engagement like discussion, problem solving, design, and innovation... because sometimes learning requires more than just reading or listening but doing and creating and i think that’s a more valuable use of our tuition tbh... In the end I think it comes down to time management, people management, hustle, and the courage to make your dream possible! Thank you Elon for the all the inspiration and thank you Evan for all the support, I feel like you’re living your passion and embodying the four values I mentioned above! I’m also interested in the 4 Pillars of the Good Life: Health, Wealth, Love, and Happiness but idk if I completely Trust Tai Lopez... tbh Wish you all the best!

    • Good, its stupid that we are still driving combustible engine cars. The powers that be have suppressed moving forward with technology for more sane vehicles because they had the market cornered on fossil fuel and will capitalize on it until it is all depleted. It's unsustainable and therefore they can drive the prices up and keep dependency. Fight that and win then we can have our better more sane transportation. You will need some powerful people to overcome them. Also, they don't really want the masses mobile. They want us in feedlots called sanctuary cities while they own and clear the land of us. If you understand their agenda then you understand why they don't allow what is obviously a simple solution.
