Canadians of the 3AB fighting in Avdiivka

2024 ж. 1 Мам.
195 814 Рет қаралды

This is the story of the three Canadians who joined the 3rd Assault Brigade and got their baptism by fire with the brigade during the operation in Avdiivka. The brigade's task was to relieve Ukrainian defenders of the city and to allow them an organized retreat. The battle for Avdiivka was one of the largest operations of the 2024 campaign. It was fought against an opponent who massively outnumbered Ukrainian troops and had an artillery and air force advantage. But that never stopped the brave ones from rising up to the challenge.

  • I experienced life during the Vietnam War. Growing up in Miami Beach Florida, living on an island, all the young men I knew were drafted. And every man I saw came back forever 'different'. Whether it was missing a limb or two or mental. More than half my friends came back addicted to heavy drugs. That war surely screwed up their minds. But the war in Ukraine is bloody and those people are fighting for their very freedom. There was a time when both the USA and Canada had to fight for our freedom. That is why I admire all of you guys for volunteering. Thank you 💛.

She is usually asked to ride them in all the way to the hospital if she has time. The experience for me is the opposite, I’m working by the back of the humvee and it’s mayhem and a Ukrainian who speaks some English here’s me speaking and all the sudden he wants to spark up a random conversation while his leg is hanging and he is high! 😂. They are all volunteers, with no ex Siviet officers and they love it the more action there is. Watch the videos from battles, esp the FINAL part of 2023 offensive and they're in Mariinka. Resonance, a YT channel that translate what they say and use it as the narration for the videos. 3rd Seperate Assault Brigade specialize on all types of hand held weapons, grenades and close quarter combat. So close that once I pushed the orc with one hand and fired my gun into his chest one of them said. Usually ut is on 3-7m if it is close combat and up to 50m. The ones with the most grenades will end up as the winners one commander explained. The good thing with3SABr/3AB is that the commanding officers always choose to go first cuz it is his guys behind him and that's just how they operate. They're an off-sgoot if AZOV SSO,secror Kyiv. All praise to Azov 12th special ourpose brugade too ofc. 3SAB they never take off time, they are o the range or do trench training in 2 pairs back to back so they always cover 360° after they enter the trenches by run as mofos, jumps straight in,find their pair buddy and make sure to take the trenches and dugouts 1 by 1... It looks nice on their training videos, but ontheir battle videos...... I can see a few seconds of a video and know if it is 3SAB or not. They have this crouching semi running way to do missions on. They are one if if not the best fuys in the whole AFU. Take the retreat from Avdiyivka f.ex. They saved so many thousand of soldiers and didbt withdraw themselves b4 they had to,tho they wabted to stay and fight cuz there were some who wrre encircled in a caldron that was taken captives and shot by the russians. You see how agressive they are,but they vakue lives so much that they give russian soldiers 8-10 chances to surrender and those that do are treated so well,if they are injured they get the sane medievac like their own guys... The soldiers from the 50+ nations that are in the legion or ìn ujrainian units is they know the language,if not they learn pretty fkn quick. They have really bad ass female soldiers as well as combat medics . 3SAB is the brigade AFU sebd when shit has hit the fan ir about to. And ofc they do the refular missions too. Highly sought after and ppl live em to death in Ukraine. They been fighting for 10years and they show very well that you can come from anotjer background and becomme just as good if not betyrr than the soldiers who recruited to the army ... I'd call them a SoF brigade who love everything habdheld as they must know all types of hans held weapons and carry a lot of grenades, ammo, gear, seceral weapons, usually 3-4 incl their gun,riffle,RPG/40mm grenade launchers and other types kike drones. These 3 Canadians gave a accurate story ab how they fight. Ukraine war is the bloodiest arty ad trench war close quarter or long olains since the ww1...ESPECIALLY for the russians who is dying 5-7x more than Ukrainians. 13x more in Avdiyivka

A young man and girl hand in hand came up to us and told us that they liked our hats, he had just returned from Ukraine and his girlfriend was from Kyiv. The young man reminds me of the fellow in this video who is dressed in green. My buddy and I are both proud to wear our hats, we both served many years ago, just two old men offing what little support we can.
