  • Insane. Production Design is really the field where I feel that even the most experienced professionals are challenged with unprecedented requirements and have to try things no one ever tried before. Deepest Respect!

  • I do love these interviews with "Hollywood" folks talking about their big budget projects. Keep doing them, but what about also doing similar interviews with their counterparts who are doing small budget projects? Production design is a great example where "indie" folks are creating amazing results on a much smaller scale and with smaller budgets. There's lots to learn from both these big show folks and from the indie folks.

    • Agreed. Personally, I'd love to see Ted sit down with Ash Thorp or Ryan Booth. That would be some excellent conversation right there.

  • can we take a moment to appreciate the level of detail regarding the whole lantern part... "the lanterns were representing the lost souls of monks who had died in this temple" as a metaphor for how one gets lost in limbo after having spent too much time there... I mean.. come the f*** on!!!! It's 2020 and this movie still blows my mind.

  • I loved every single second of this video, he is absolutely incredible, a genius. His mind, the way he sees things and creates connections blew me away, I loved the Elizabeth & the map example, how he decided to transition that from a simple map on a table to a tile floor map and have her walk on it as she strategizes as well as the lanterns story for Inception. Just WOW!
