Oh my gosh. You literally just saved me $75! I did this in 10 minutes and the cut came out better than what my stylist does. THANK YOU!
music to my ears hearing you say you saved money!! ♥️
This one worked amazingly on my 5 year old daughter’s hair! It was a hot mess, but she wants to keep it long. The layers turned out beautifully! Thanks!
e””Ap
omg awesome!! ♥️
I'm about to do the same to my 4 year old 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Can it be done with wet hair
I cut my own hair during lockdown once. I cut dry hair because I was so tired of it. I think wet would be more difficult for most lay people. If you think of hair people they always wet hair in sections.
I just watched and cut my hair following your instructions. Best haircut I’ve had in recent memory. I cannot believe how much money I’ve wasted on haircuts over the years. Never spending another dollar. Thank you!
I'm so glad! 😍
Totally trying this. !!! Tk U! Great way to save $$ too. Definitely invest in the correct tools
Just cut my hair like this and love how it came out! Super easy. I have thick, heavy straight hair and I needed something to make it feel lighter for summer and this did the trick.
Yay! 😍🎉
this comment give me confident, imma try it now haha
@@Elxosonia do it! Its so worth it
@@LP12191 yes yes it is! and i can't believe my hair turn out beautifully despite using crappy scissor ✨✨
@@Elxosonia oml now imma do it rnnnn
Thank you. I never thought this would look good on thick black hair but seeing it flow so nicely on your hair gave me courage and saved my winter. I didnt want to pay 70 dollars for a layered haircut I won't be using during winter but still wanted the lightness of it for comfort when I'm home and just feel good so there isnt long hair pieces falling on my face or looking messy .. Thank you very very much. I am thankful. It looks perfect now but might look sticky tomorrow just because I used a cheap hair scissor but it still saved me a trip to a salon for simple layers. :)
I’m only 12 years old and I tried this and it looked AMAZING. Definitely trying this again.
I just did this haircut and let me tell you how much I'm loving this. I've never cut my hair by myself but this has become my favorite now. Thank you for helping us out ❤️✨
Just tried this today and the results are AMAZING love how simple the method is! Thanks so much :))
yay!! 🥰
I've been wearing this style since the 90's because it's just what works best on my hair type. Can't tell you how many times I had to come home from the salon and fix it myself over the years because the stylist just couldn't blend it or get the face framing right. I learned a lot of layering tricks over the years but this looks so quick and easy. Great tutorial.
I just tried this and I must say that I am completely in love with the results. This was the easiest/fastest haircut I have ever given myself. I feel like it turned out better than a salon haircut! ❤❤❤
love this for you!! Glad it worked ❤
Hi I just wanted to say I cut my hair at 2am last night following this and was quite successful!! I nearly cut off about 10 inches of hair lol thank you so much for not editing out parts when you had to trim more, that part helped me a lot!!!
awesome!! ❤️
130 am...and i am searching for my next haircut. Ive done it THIS SAME WAY for nearly 20 years.
It's not a real DIY haircut if we're not cutting it in the early hours of the morning lol 😅
Wow! So in love with this self hair cut. It turns out really great. Easy and beautiful layers. Thank you so much...❤💇♀️🥰
I did mine yesterday for my headshots and I LOVE how it turned out. Seriously, that was a great tutorial!!
awesome!! 🥰
Omg thanks for this video. I did it and I actually did few times and stopped upon reaching my desired length. It’s perfect. My friends thought i had it professionally cut. This is so far the best I’ve seen on you tube. Most of all it’s the easiest way.
Thank you for this. I am a lace front wig wearer and I’m always looking for a new ways to make my wigs look more on the positive trend. This cut took my most recent wig from cute to it girl. Thank you mamas!
love this!! ❤️
I did this on my 11-year old and we are shocked. I am terrible at cutting hair lol and I actually pulled this off; so easy, doable, quick, and it looks PROFESSIONAL. I really really appreciate your video cuz I didn’t have enough money to give my daughter a nice professional hair cut for school so I told her I’d do one myself and because of your video, she looks fabulous!!!! Thank you so so so much. My daughter has super super think hair and this cut made her look like a Rachael hair style after a blow out lol! It’s awesome . We love it thank you again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
aww, this is so awesome! You will be saving a lot of money from cutting hair at home. Love this for your daughter 💕 have a blessed day!!
@@TinaEngeo THANK YOU 🥹 And you as well! ❤️
I did this yesterday and I'm so glad I did! I have wavy, very fine, aging hair and this gave it so much life 💕
Omg thank you so much! I love my hair, it was super long and flat and this was a great change!
It works! I tried this today and it turned out so pretty. Thank you so kuch for such a great video and also for step by step showing it.
Just did this on my 9 year olds hair! Best and easiest tutorial ever!!! Thank you!!!
I’m gonna use this method every time I cut my hair from now on because it was amazing! Usually takes me a good hour to cut my own hair and add layers in, this took 5 minutes for an amazing result! 😆👏🏻 Love it, thank you! ❤️
yay!! ❤
Right? Took me about 15 total mins, and zero $!
I did this with hair extensions and it worked PERFECTLY. This is a game changing method for doing your own layers
YES!! ❤️ you are going to save so much money from now on lmao
Omg I just did this on my hair and it turned out so well! Thanks for this :) saved so much money and even prefer it to how my hairdressers does it lol win win!! X
WIN WIN!! awesome ❤️❤️
no i wanna do it
1.15 am, and same girl...same...
Does you hair need to be hair straightened to do this? I have very thick wavy hair
THE BEST TUTORIAL YET I did NOT expect it to come out this amazing thank you thank you thank you 🙌
i did it!!!! i got scared after i took the pony out but a length trim and more point cutting + styling and it looks insane 💖 love it
Thank you so much! I hate going to hair salon because it always takes a long time and I had never felt fully satisfied with the result. This tutorial is so easy and I love the result!
omg awesome!! ❤️
Plus they never listen. I haven't been since April and it's still around the length I kind of wanted. I wanted it a little shorter in the back but I took my eyes away & all of a sudden my front was like at my ear. I was like what? Now I try and get in & she claims she is too busy to get me in for just a trim with a little layering & color before I have to go out of state on Oct. 17. This is small town. BS. Then I'd have to watch her pricing too I just don't know who to go to & I ask and "everyone is SO helpful - like 1 person can't help?" Sorry.
I love this video so much because my hair is super thick like yours and I like that the layers are mostly in the front and not as much in the back. I did this cut on my hair about 8-10 months ago and it grew out beautifully!!! I have bigger curls (think messy beach waves 😂) and for the first time in my life have been opting to leave it rather than straightening it! Also, Did the same cut on my 7yo daughters hairs and LOVE how perfectly it turned out on her thin hair. She won’t get an actual hair cut and because she has much thinner hair, it actually made the layers much more subtle which was perfect for her.
LOVE that this didn't take off too much length, I have pretty curly hair and this worked great!
OH MY GOSH! YOUVE SAVED MY CONFIDENCE!! I had wolfcut a month ago, I didn't like it so much, it was such a hassle to maintain and paid $100+. Im so desperate to fix my hair. But the moment I saw your video and followed your clear instructions, VOILA! A disappointing wolfcut become a very beautiful layered hair and best part is DIY AT HOME! Omg THANK YOU
This is actually another way they teach you in the salon to do layers!!! So it is proven to work every time, easy and looks beautiful!!!!
I just did it!! Took less than 5 minutes, you are a God send my dear! Haha, loving it. That was just what my flat long hair needed!! thank you thank you thank you!! 🙋💙✝️🇺🇲
Love your energy and excitement. Hair looks so good!!
thank you so much!! 🥰
It looks so pretty! I'm going to try this on my blow out before washing it back to curly. I have a feeling my curls will look extra bouncey with this cut
Just did this. Put ponytail in middle of head because I was scared of cutting off too much. Looks beautiful. Did it a second time but altogether about 6 inches off. Looks great. Long way to go, but as summer comes in netmxt year this is my go to now. Thanks! I was so scared but its a great cut ✂️
Did you cut it have or the whole thing
This is the best. I swear this is my go to from now on. I have curly/wavy hair and it worked just fine(hard to splay the ends out but still!)
You did 👏🏽that👏🏽sis! Absolutely gorgeous! My hair is waist length and I’ve been wanting to try something like this 😊
thank you so much!!
Did the hair stay the same length I want to keep the length but I want layers
Thank you so much! My hair turned out perfect!
I may be a little late but I tried this tutorial and I instantly fell in love with my hair 😍 It was really easy and crafty :)
yay!! ❤️
i'm hoping on doing this sometime soon! thank you for showing us how to do layers :) x
My pleasure! ♥️
@@TinaEngeo The layers are what scare me. I've always had to cut my bangs b/c nobody listens to me and refuse to cut them how I want them. They think I lie about how fast they honestly grow. So I thought I may be having brain surgery & my head could be shaved so why not try myself? I'm still nervous.
Just tried this today, and it turned out amazing.. Thank you for that easy technique 🙏♥️
♥️♥️
Just did this for my wife and she LOVED it! Thank you! Now I'm a hero and the designated haircutter :P
wow! came out amazing! You inspired me to do a wolf cut from your video before. I may end up trying this one out too!
Thank you so much beautiful! Good luck with your cut 💜
I’m going to try right now! BEAUTIFUL. I’ve had layers since I was 15 and kinda always wanted to try myself. Definitely doing it! Thanks!❤
🥰🥰
👋🏾! Fantastic method!! Work’s wonderfully in wigs too! Thanks for posting!! Saved me alot of 💰 !! 🙏🏾✌🏾
Thank you!!! I cut layers into my hair and I fudged it up big time, this helped me fix the mistake I did and make my hair beautiful again 🥹🫶
Yesss just did my hair... Came out AWWWW SOME thanks for the video 👍🏻💁🏻♀️
I just did this and I’m shocked with how light my hair feels now and how good it looks. Thank you so much🙏🏽
Yay! 😍♥️
this is SO helpful!! i LOVE the results!!! (i also LOVE your arm tattoo!)
This video motivated me to cut my own hair for the first time and it was so easy! It turned out amazing, i love it! thank you!
❤️❤️
The layers look so beautiful on you!! I'm tempted to recreate it x-x
Thank you so much! ♥️
This tutorial is Fantastic!!! I wanted a change and every time I’d get a cut I would never get enough layers and it was frustrating, so I decided to try this tutorial and I am beyond words my hair looks great. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! 🥹♥️
PS- THANK YOU for what you said about the length and having healthy hair over length. I’ve grown my hair out since covid started and I’ve been so attached to the length I don’t want to go to the salon and have them hack it off (which they always do!) so I’ve let it grow and grow and freaking grow. But now I can do anything with it but put it in a braid or a bun and it gets so tangled and hurts soooo much. I feel like an idiot but when you said that about wanting healthy hair over length it was the slap upside the head I needed 😂
lmao I feel you! I remember when I was a teenager and I refuuuuuused to cut any length even though my hair looked so crusty and dry after bleaching like crazy. Been digging the thick healthy hair look lately and embracing my darker hair. Glad you felt the same way after this video ❤️
Highly recommend I just went with the flow and I still got really good layers I hope you guys try it out for yourself ❤️ 💙 💜
Thank you so much ❤❤this worked out so well !!!just did it yesterday exactly what I wanted 😊
I’ve been cutting my hair like this for years. It comes out great every time 😊
That's awesome! 😍
This does work! Amazing. I did modify a little like some of the comments suggested. I put my pony tail on the top of my head rather than so far in front so that the layers weren't as drastic. So easy.
Fantastic! 😍
THANK YOU! It works with curls as well!
My hairdresser of 20+ years just retired. I was nervous about going to someone new, so I decided today that I was going to look up how to cut it myself. Your video was the first one I came across. I cut my hair in a few minutes, and I think it turned out well. Thank you for this instructional video!
Used this to cut my hair by myself for the first time TT I’m pretty happy with how it came out for it being my first time, tysm for the video !!!
yay!! happy it worked for you ❤️
Omg! I was searching for how to do a haircut to save some money….. this turned out amazingly! Thank you so much 👏👏🎉
This worked wonders! Thank you girl :)
Omg, I went through like 5 other videos of hair stylists doing a diy on a mannequin!!! I thought the same as you, thanks for showing us how to actually DIY!! ❤
Thank you I needed to see someone do this one themselves. Absolutely beautiful.
thank you so much! ❤
I did it. My hair was a few inches shorter than yours, but I did it and it came out awesome. My hair is fluffy and has more body. When I get my haircut, I asked them for a long layers and it never seems like I get what I want, but I was able to do it myself. You’re awesome, thank you
Super easy and looks so natural ❤
i liked both the before and after lmao! i'm sure both looking amazing styled too, thanks for the tutorial
Looks so good!! I have loose curly hair so I’m excited to lighten up the ends!! ❤
I can just imagine how good this would look on you! Let me know how it goes 😊
@@TinaEngeo omg it came out great!! This was such a great tutorial!!! My hair instantly feels lighter and softer (it was down to my lower back and I’ve been afraid to cut it). Like you I cut it and wanted to cut it slightly shorter. You see in your cover photo where the ends kinda curl? I kinda want to cut that area for me but I’m gonna chill on the scissors for now lol I can wait a few months! This was perfect for blow out season. Lol Thank you! 💕
I tried this and it worked out amazingly 10/10 thanks for also adding in the face framing 😍
Awesome! 😍
i just did this with tape in hair extensions in my hair to get them to blend better with my natural hair and it worked like a charm! thank you so much!!
Great tip! Thanks for sharing 😍😍
Thank you so much for this. Ive watched so many videos but for some reason this one gave me all the courage and confidence & i love the outcome! I was dying to cut my hair. Lol.
Omg you made the best cutest , gorgeous layers ever I did mine with wet hair and it turned out to be soo gorgeous thank you so much I would definitely recommend this easy layers hair tutorial I would definitely do this again thank you for making this easy layer hair tutorial it turned out to be sooooo gorgeous even with my red hair colour with my brown hair it looks really good thanks ✨✨✨🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹💓💓💓💓💞💞💞💞🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😌😌😌😌😌😌💖💖💖😍😍😍😍💗💗💗😭😭😭😭☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️😄😄😄😄😄😄😄🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

istg you just saved my life I LOVE YOU GIRL😂🫂
I have bad anxiety and haven’t been for a cut in years, usually just get the kids to trim my hair lol. I did this tonight and love it!!
amazing! ❤
That looks so good! Thank you for this video! About to try it myself-wish me luck 😬
good luck!!
oh my god !!! i watched your video a couple of days ago and was intrigued and today i decided to do this cut and i’m shocked !!! it came out so good and just the way i like it !!! never paying $70 for a wash cut and blow dry ever again !!!! thank you for doing this video 🥰
Aaah love this!! 😍
I just quickly done what you showed me on your video and wow I will never be a hairdresser like my sister but it worked out well.! Although I am permanently brain damaged and my carer walked away because she did not want to watch me "cut all my hair off" as she said and thought but I was happy to walk out with a "little" shorter well layered hair cause I had to get rid of all those fluffy dead ends I had! So thanks babe You did a great home job and video 😘 my hair needed a good lil cut ✂️
OMG AT FIRST I DIDNT HAVE THE CONFIDENCE OF DOING MY HAIR NOT UNTIL I SAW UR VIDEO THATS SO SIMPLE AND ALL. AND I ACTUALLY DID IT ON MY OWN AND IT LOOKS NICE AND GOOD. THANKYOUU SOO MUCH🫶🫶🫶. GUYS HIT THE LIKE BUTTON,FOLLOW AND SHARE TO THOSE THAT NEEDS IT.
I did it!!!! Thank u so much your video helped me a lot to get motivated yesterday i took the scissors and i did it it looks great i love my hair now 😘
YES, i did it and it looks amazing!!! thank you!
My hair looks so good now thank you !
Wow I have super long hair but I really want my hair like this asap!! Love how it looks with the blowout
do it!! ❤️
3 days ago I had limp long hair down my back. KZhead randomly recommended this video to you. And I thought heck why not, I’ve got three scrunchies and a scissor... best haircut ever! 💜
This worked really well for me! Granted, my hair is really wavy, so it’s pretty forgiving - any mistakes kind of get lost in the waves. But this method gave me nice, subtle layers. Going to be my go-to from now on!
I GET what you mean about a good chop. Even when you said after you lighten it. I love my length but I love getting rid of dead ends just as much if not more!
yes!! we love the feeling of a fresh new start.
This turned out amazing!
Love this! Assuming you have naturally straight hair too which I do it's extra helpful. People wouldn't think but cutting straight hair is harder cause it looks choppy easily. You're beautiful BTW as well. 😌
thank you so much! ♥️♥️
Totally agree I have myself super straight hair like asian people and it even doesn’t hold curls (it holds one hour 😂). The hardest thing is to DIY hair cut on this kind of straight as you easily can mess it. But with this technique you can’t go wrong !!!! Thank you Tina so much … I have already saved a lot of money but most of all I’m Always happy with the results and I cut just as much as I want and not getting butchered by a hairdresser 💇♀️😂👍❤️💕❤️
This is absolute magic.
I'm scared to do it by myself, but I'll definitely give it a try 😭 Thank you for the video!
My hair turned out awesome! Thank you
Im glad!! 😃🫶🏼
it turned out sooo good wow!! 😍
You are so cute and the hairstyle looks amazing on you! I've NEVER cut my own hair as an adult but I did after watching your video. And it turned out amazing!!!! I had to tweak it a bit as my hair is quite a bit shorted than yours BUT DANG!!!!! It was so easy and looks so good!
YAY!! That's awesome, you will be saving a lot of money cutting your own hair from now on ❤️
Oh wow!!! Looks so cute! Love it!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Satisfying indeed!! Thanx 4 sharing! :)
Wow thank you for this video! I've never cut my own hair before, but I tried this and am very surprised with the results!!
awesome!! ❤
I did it!!!!!! 🎉 Thank You!!! Love how mines turned out!!! ❤
awesome! ❤
Looks amazing. I am going to do this. I've been looking for a good tutorial for a while on how to do my own hair. Thank you
Good luck! 😃
I totally forgot to separate the sections lol but it still came out super cute and layered! Thank you 💕
yay! awesome 💗💗
Ok so this was so easy and turned out amazing thank you
my hair is down to my butt right now and I love it but need a trim so badly and some shape! I'm VERY tempted to try this!
