English Commentary.
High Definition.
give him about 4-6 more years and he will be one of the best midfielders in the world
Your prophecy has been fulfilled at Arsenal
انت على حق
He can propably win the Champions League with Arsenal this season.
@@MarkTaipi I’m just seeing this notification and I am the fucking oracle of football
@@jout738 damn right I’m looking forward to seeing how legendary his time at arsenal will become
KZhead keeps showing me videos of Martin form 7-8 years ago and the fact that he's a masterclass now makes me so emotional.
Now he is world class
this is way too good for a 16year-old boy......
😭😭
Such shit. I expected him to a score a perfect hat trick and nut meg totti.
+pablo amador If you expected him to do that you wouldn't think he's "shit"?
+Bensimoewa yxxxxcccccvvbbbbnnug yxcvbmmqaglqezop130
+Bensimoewa He is just showing how stupid people are criticizing him, a 16 year old, on not being some superstar football player
+Knives Millions it's better to give him play time at a young age because he'll get used to playing in proper matches like Barcelona did with messi plus it's only a friendly match so it doesn't really matter.
+Knives Millions yea I know the one attack he started and Martin slowed it down.. Ronaldo looked so pissed XD
In my heart Ødegaard is amazing! Watch some videoes where he plays with Castilla and see how he plays... Go on Ødegaard you got a BIG future!
KvammiZ
Arsenal
this was aged perfectly, now ødegaard is well-known player in arsenal.
Why put him in the first team at 16.. He looked so nervous playing against them, credit where it's due tho, he's just 16/17
It's good for his development though, to get some of that feel already on how it is to play those matches. And the best opportunity right now to give him that feel is in a friendly.
Plus it was a friendly and it didn't really matter
+Jaehyun Chung Yes it does, Real Madrids a top club in the world, they have a reputation to maintain and are heavily critiqued, they still try to win, even in friendlies.
rusty111fire True, but this is the one of the few times Odegaard gets to have game time in the first team and the fact that some people criticize him for being nervous is ridiculous. I know this doesn't go with what I previously said but that's just my point
+Zaki El Horan ofcourse he was nervous he is playing 4 real Madrid at a age of 16
I dont think he is bad, I only think that he dont have any balls.. Instead of run with the ball and challange a defender he just stops and then pass the ball back and slow things down, he didnt even shoot.. He is a great player, only 16 years old, but to show that he is something to madrid he need to get some balls
+Barky | Worst Content EU That's a fucking quality opinion right there. There's no "he has no future a talentless shithead" kind of chit-chat.
That's something that will come with age though. By the time he's 18 he will have much better confidence on the pitch and his skills will also have improved greatly. His balls will grow. ;)
+Barky | Worst Content EU He lost confidence after that first attempted cross to ronaldo...
+Barky | Worst Content EU Well I think it wasn't smart that he went to a team like Real Madrid straight away. He should have gone to like Ajax or Feyenoord. A step forward where he can play and train a lot.
you could really notice how nervous he was every time he got the ball in the offensive zone. He just stopped and kinda killed the flow of the attack. Hopefully with a couple of years practice he will understand the value of confidence, then he will be great.
Now he's good
he is talented but not ready yet to play on this level
+Binadance Finaly a comment that makes sense. I like Ødegaard, and I really hope he becomes a world class player in the future. But as you said he is not yet ready to play on this level. But its good for him. He gets experience. He knows what is expected in a match at this level, and gets practice mentally.
Dude thats how u get better
+Binadance He is 16, he needs to get used to this level first , the pressure it's huge... He needs to get some experience so he can play his game and his style.
Well you clearly know what's up...(not)
+Speedgames Misterpopo You are insanely stupid
17 year old Wayne destroys Everton , 16 year old pato demollishes defences in Brazil , 17 year old messi rings bells in catalonia of a new prodigy emerging .. Odegard ? Hmm I don't know .. Odd maybe ?
fuck off he is 16 !!!!!!!
Walid Ghalayini Amazing how Ancelotti came out with his book and basically answered what I said..PR stunt ... He's been struggling in real madrid B, can take away zidane's role as a mid 10 ..because enzo is better , they got relegated to third division now ...He might go to hamburg so we'll see..$$ ruins everything . Good now that madrid got a transfer ban ..They destroy football and players .
Enzo is awful. Their defense is awful. The team cohesion is awful. Castilla in general is awful.
Worthless I dont think they're biased down there in Madrid ..If enzo's awful then odegaard must be not so far away from it ...Ancelotti wouldn't say shit like this for no reason..Listen he's young lets see but how many times have we recently seen , the next star and they don't emerge to become nothing .
Wayne, Pato and Messi are strikers...... Odegaard is midfielder. Do you even football, bro?
3:05 Its not a Dutchman, he's from Belgium.
+Ruslan Nabiyev That's true, but isn't someone from Belgium called a Belgian?
+Ruslan Nabiyev Ah alright. Sorry for my ignorance!
+Ruslan Nabiyev Absolutely not true they are called Belgians. If you want to be specific, Nainggolan was born in the north part of Belgium where they speak Dutch, they are called Flemings. Dutch people are called Netherlanders.
+Ruslan Nabiyev Your comments made me laugh. Are you saying that Belgium was once dominated by Germany therefore its ok to call them Dutchmen? That is just pure nonsense. Maybe they share the same ancestor (All Europeans do) but as of now they are different groups of people. The commentator is an idiot who cant tell a Belgian apart from a Dutchman or maybe it's just a slip of his tongue. I believe its the former. : )
+Ruslan Nabiyev You cant call an American a British. To be honest I have never heard anyone call a Brazilian Portuguese. Your theory is very laughable.
hey for being 16 he played pretty calm and cool, considering he was starting for one of the top clubs in the world with some of the top players in the world
He is nervous , that's why he can't do his best
do we all forget that he is 16, im his age and cant even have an impact on a regular pre academy team in NY. HES FUCKING STARTING ON ONE OFTHE BEST TEAMS IN THE WORLD @A16 THATS CRAZY.
He's got some good touches and he's got a decent speed but maybe over time we will see his skills and shots on goal hopefully
All he did was pass back... Amazing new talent indeed.
Its his first start, of course he is going to be nervous and just go with the momentum instead of making an impact. He'll get used to it and get more confident as he gets more playing time.
3:30 Ronaldo got angry at Martin
+joakim cool You're right loooooool.
+joakim cool Ronaldo is right
Lets wait until he is 18 before we make a judgement.
solo hay que darle tiempo para que tenga confianza con el equipo y muestre sus habilidades, y si juega asi de nervioso es por que no quiere cagarla para que después no lo dejen volver a jugar. muy buena promesa.
omg he is phenomenal
It's really great to see the Roma players go easy on Martin.
He’s extremely talented, especially for his age. His true skills showed in the Eredivisie. He just needs to calm his nerves and stop being so anxious when playing with Real Madrid’s first team.
I like how the next video is the match against Cultural Leonesa. Shows his development.
He shouldn't have played in the big leagues before he is ready..But this is just pre season and he is still learning. So, call down....if all of you are disliking him
So many fools in the comment section, talking about how he didn't contribute and should have tried to make big risky plays. If anything, madrid is giving him a game plan to build his confidence up. You know how a game starts and the last thing you wanna do is throw the ball away right away? You want to build your confidence up, make easy passes at the beginning. This is his first game with the big boys, he's building his confidence up.
When I have a game like that, I will shoott as many as I could.. Someone would be impressed when you play offensively rather than strolling around with the ball nowhere.
He has potential.
"He's only 16".... Please, Pele won the World Cup at 17, in 1958
Jair Lugo he's not pele
Jair Lugo zo everybody who's not pele is shit
Jair Lugo my fucking god did you just say this?
ImadSkori i
Jair Lugo yeah you can’t do that as easily anymore. Football is 1000x more intense and competitive than it was in 1958. Plus it’s not like Pelé won it himself, he was surrounded by amazing players. That was Brazil’s golden generation.
Nainggolan isn't a dutchman, he is belgian. Just to clarify :)
16 years old already plays with the professional player and his salary ? Definitely more than 35k euro or pound or whatever . While me 18 y.o only sitting here and watching his performance and thinking about my college's loan. How lucky he is. p/s: sorry for my bad english
5 more years and then, ding!
always go back with the ball
+nael ahmad agree
He looks so nervous. doesnt he have any friend in RM? Somebody Takes care him... He looks like a fish out of water;(
Not sure if u know this but apparently he has major issues with the staff and team (rm b team) so zidane doesn't think he's ready for the big stage and that's probably why he doesn't mesh well with the Real Madrid a team.
He does nothing other than look for help.
Seemed quite nervous.
whats the song on the stadium
martin does not stand out among them, but also have to remember that is 16
He looks so lost out there he should not be playing for Real Madrid IDC if he is just 16 he should wait till he's good enough to play for such an elite team.
+Blasto Manto as you said, he's 16. He's not going to play for Real Madrid First team right away, he'll be with Zidane for another season. He's doing well over there and play much better. We shouldn't expect miracles from a kid playing side to side with Ramos, Bale, Modric and Ronaldo, he's only 16!
+VampireMadrid Nope zidane kicked him out of the academy because he's too "cocky"
icyweiner11 OMG! He's homeless now? :/
+Blasto Manto I agree with you he should have joined a team where he would become a better player like Ajax not rm but how does he look lost? He played like he supposed to
+odezs Maybe in the Norwegian league he can pull off some of those moves but here he either loses the ball or always passes it backwards.
If people think he's terrible why the hell do you think he is in one of the best club teams in the world?! To top it off he's only 16, if u can do better I want to see you make it to Real Madrid at 16.... I'll be here waiting.
16 years old and playing for one of if not the biggest club(s) in the world #therewillbehaters
mister one Its hard to take you seriously with not only a name like yours, but your comment to makes no sense lmao. So if you feel the need to embarrass yourself even more, please, be my guest.
Are you a guy or girl? With a name like Tristan it's difficult to decipher... I was referring to your '#therewillbehaters' because it serves no purpose here on youtube. Btw Ødegaard sucks and only passes back.
mister one oh what a surprise, you've done it again! what a surprise! thanks for proving me right :) FYI: theres a hashtag with multiple purposes on the keyboard for a reason. also, there are youtube vidoes on #therewillbehaters.... please, just stop trying lol.
+Tristan Turner Its also called telling it like you see it. He is not good enough to play on that level yet.
tysswe1 You do realize this conversation was months and months ago, you are unbelievably late lmao, why did you even come to the video if you just want to start an argument? 0 sense.
Nice passing :)))
OMG so much talent!! that performance!! I´m still in shock LOL
Martin plays goood, but in this matches are very very nervous, 16 years old vs 23 - 30 years old players.. mm should be very difficult, and you can not afford to make a mistake.
Okay, he is young and it is normal not to play at his best, but i think that he needs to learn how to use both legs
he should dare to do things, like, he got a big space so he should've run and challenged the other players because he is talented enough to do it, but i think he's to nervous
I just wasted 5:10 min of my life
who was marcelo hugging in the beginning?
Hes still got alot to learn. He should man up and realise he do not qualify for madrid yet. He has a tendency to stop with the ball, halting the game and offence. I get why he wants to play with the A team, but he must learn humility to. He is simply not on that level yet.
If Kroos, Marcos Llorente and Odegaard play the 3 midfield in the future, that would be the most handsome midfield lineup in the world 3 golden hair boys, holy shxt
Just wait he will be one of the best players in the world one day
he was just passing the ball
Not a bad start for a 16 but seems a bit too nervous, a bit shaky when it comes to taking chances and perform some cut passes. Really do have to give him credit as you can see that he does starts to steady down from at 37min ish. Unfortunately just lack the team work to actually "perform" for the team, you can see that the team expected certain things but he does another. Although he does show solid work, but I think it would be better for him to be loaned out because he would be better from the experiences. Specially when Madrid ain't the best club to raise youngsters like him that needs time and encouragement. Probably should loan him to lower rank team in Eredivisie, or Segunda Division B where he could be the playmaker for the team.
this kid is doomed to fail, he went for the money and fame move instead of doing whats best for his future. there is no way in hell he will ever be able to live up to the unrealistic expectations he let other set fir himself. he didn't even play bad this game. he didn't contribute at all and held madrid back at times, but he's 16 playing against roma, what did you expect? oh i know what you expected, with that price tag on his head we all expected to see him score a hat trick or some glimere of brilliance that messy showed at that age. he's fucked
messi didn't play when he 16 neither will this kid maybe in 2 years this is a preseason friendly bro
cesar saldana messi made his debut at 16, wasn't getting paid even a quarter of what this kid is getting. odegaard has already appeared in actual league play for real madrid. he also already has 6 caps for his national team. the expectations are unreal, it will take a miracle for him to actually succeed and not fade away in the next 2 years
john doe that's not the point no one is messi bro. Besides he looks like a smart kid and actually loves the game. His passes are already top notch he just needs to grow out to protect the ball and obviously get faster. He has a devoted dad and everything set up for him to succeed. Hopefully he does I don't understand this generation hoping for someone to fail. Smh I hope he does great because really there is enough for everyone
cesar saldana you don't understand, this is almost completely out of his control now. he obviously isn't that smart because no kid or agent (lol his dad) who was actually looking out for his future would accept to get paid more than half the senior team members at madrid when he's only 16 and never played a single game at the senior level. the expectation from the fans, media, board of directors at madrid, and coaching staff are way too damn high now. you don't pay 80,000 pounds a week for a player that's just good, they are going to expect him to perform the way messi did for him to not be dismissed to some lower tier team then forgotten completely before he even turns 20. he went for the money and dream move knowing damn well he wasn't even close to being ready for the spotlight and a team like madrid. it's going to come back and bite him in the ass. he's a good player and has great potential but he let everyone set the bar way too damn that even a player like messi couldn't have lived up to those expectations that age. it took ronaldo and messi a good bit of time to become the players they are now, odegaard won't be afforded that luxury of having time to develop because he's getting paid 80,000 pounds of week, almost 3 times what raheem sterlng was making last year.
How is going to real Madrid not smart after that what you said bro ignorance he's 16 he won't even start for PSV rn bro john doe
Why are people so hateful towards him? He is better than all of you, who are hating on him. This is literally his first game with his team, give him a chance!
Well the debate isnt whether hes better than somone writing youtube comments aha hes playing professional football and will be critiqued against his colleagues in said case hes average why play him if hes not ready theres been footballers who play at 16/17 and show a heck of alot more promise than this kid first of all get real about it.
He must have been so nervous.
He's in shock like damn this is nuts I'm on the field with Ramos and Ronaldo
cant handle the pressure
Remind me of the bad Ramsey. Always go for the safe pass. Seems just walking around on the pitch. Want to get the ball hardly, but don't know what to do after get it. Hope he can get a transformation.
I'm shock him and I have the same birthday and year he plays for Madrid I play varsity soccer for the school
he good if come at small club at BPL... can show to all what he got... this is messi and ronaldo era.. no Pele... not same
Ødegaard must have the best agent in the world!
fuck these bad comments, odegaard is doing what every amature footballer can only do in their dreams. to be 16 in real madrid says alot for itself. its not like hes doing bad or anything, in a way he is ready. hes playing alongside and against world class players, and very well at tht.
Take it easy, guys. This kid aint a Pele or a Maradona, so dont expect him to destroy a game with only 17 years old. He will be a good player, maybe a great player, on the future, but he needs time. He has good technique.
Just some constructive negativity sometimes he should not be afraid to take a pass on first time or play up the field
I realise that barely anyone speaks Norwegian but 'Ø' is pronounced like "OO"
Ødeegaard are cool
I like Martin . I really do love his normal playing style but he should've taken it easy . He's not ready for this level . Maybe in 2 more years :D
slow reaction when possessing the ball, instinct is NOT trained but naturally comes with it. look how Alen Halilovic plays! you can tell this guy has the strength and determination (even he is shorter than oedegaard), and more importantly he is not afraid of taking initiative and responsibilities on the pitch - as we say it is the leadership football teams are looking for. from the video, did you any BIT of leadership he demonstrates? to be fair, he might be good in the future, but from current perspective, he seems to be so overrated because his linkage to Real Madrid.
dang looks shy to take the ball for himself he justs passes it.
I think for a 16-year old this was a very good game.
didnt really contribute at all in this match. didnt show why he should have a chance to play for the first team
Footpauler the kids 16, probably nervous as hell
elliott williams thats true. but hes gonna have to learn to handle the pressure especially with the hype he is getting otherwise he will go down hill
FifaHdVidz He'll probably be gone to another team in a year if he keeps playing like that.
FifaHdVidz How the hell is he going to go on loan with that wage. Plus, he's currently no where near the first team standard for any top league ( ENG,ITA,SPN,FRA,GER) teams. Being send to the Spanish second division will not help a lot too. The place he should be right now is England's Championship level, good standard, very competitive and also high crowd attendance that can help stimulate pressure. Maybe Ajax might be a good option but in the end I still think he chose a wrong move. Sadly he's just 16 but the decision to move to Madrid will either be a take or break!
+Footpauler you don't have to be an amazing presence like you might see in other young stars like Depay, especially in Spain. Xavi proved that. Give him time.
Everything I see he just back passed, well he's still young very young actually,, He has that talent, but RM should give him a chance on loan, maybe in lower level league..
He plays for Real Madrids second team. If the second team fail to get to Segunda Division this season he should be loaned out.
yeah he was nervous but he should act like he playing for his old club just doing skills taking people on and hitting shots
+Soccerlifetrill He done well.. He play very good fotball for was 16 years old.
who is that?
what happened to him?
what is this?
3:06 Commentator said "Nainggolan The Dutchman" haha
3:10 lol, Naingolan Dutchmen? I wish he was, would make the dutch squad bit better
le football est devenu difficile faut attendre c'est comme mastour qui fait des match pas terrible mais faut laisser le temps fin c'est mon avis
He seems so confident with the ball in his feet as he plays football for decades however he seems to afraid to try killer passes. He is afraid of making mistake, but mistakes are necessary if you want to improve. Even Messi until this day wastes some good chances because he tries difficult passes, but if you don't try, you will never succeed in them.
Remember that he is 16 and this match was the first time he started for Real Madrid. He was probably really nervous and wanted to play it safe.
Smittz i was talking generally, he plays "safe" football
Sexy Beast Have you watched his match vs England U21?
no
Sexy Beast Then how can you say he generally plays safe when you don't watch his matches?
this video is a complete waste of time man. all this is, is a kid making the most simple passes and not doing much else. I don't even see the point of showing this video. crazy
3:28 Ronalo gets mad after Oddergardsddfj fucked up the play
odegaard is the best player eve did u see those skills. wonder kid. even too good for real
Look at the space at his right win @ 3:27 he could have run there and make a great pass, 2 defenders same spot.............
Dar pra ver que ele tem talento , mais lhe falta agressividade com a bola , e personalidade pra jogar pra cima do adversário. será um grande jogador , mais precisa ser mudado estas características.
He is talented, but its safe to say he shouldn't be starting for Real Madrids 1st team... They should loan him out to a 2nd division team or let him play for Real Madrid Castilla (I think he already is playing for them, but not sure.)
He got kicked from Castilla for being a bad teammate. Zidane kicked him out.
he's scared to actually put the ball in the net not sure why maybe because he's young or the older guys look down on him but he has some serious potential if he scores :II I hope he starts scoring adsfkl;jsdf
He lacks the confidence and that's normal to some extent for a teenager, but his strength ( his technique) could be exceptional with Scandinavian standards but compared to Latin players he's just an average to good, and far beyond the potential of a super star or even a great fantasy player. I hope to see him becoming a big name as he looks very nice lad.
you are wrong, he is a world class player with incredible intelligence.
watch his game against Bayern Münich. Much has happened in one year.
I thought it's a FIFA match when I heard the commentator
WHO IS THIS COMMENTATOR? whats his name???
SuperBiH123 Keep Calm!
SuperBiH123 names darude - sandstorm
+elliott williams haha:D
he did fine to me, like yeah he didn't do anything special in those highlights but fuck if real madrid need him to win them games they've got problems...
it's not that he was bad... he just pass the ball and didn't try anything risky... i did a regular match...
