Our friend, @MattsOffRoadRecovery wants to go mountain biking with his kids, but he hasn't ridden a bike in ages, and is afraid he can't keep up. As it turns out though, Matt is a BMXer from way back, and knows how to handle a bike! In this video, we set Matt up with an E-Mountain Bike, and take him and his kids on a ride they'll never forget.

  • As soon as Mat stands up and starts pedalling, you can tell by his body he's a BMX bandit from years ago. I've been watching MORR for years, never once guessed he'd be a demon on the trails with only 2 wheels.

    • Yep, the body language shows it. Except for a couple moments he looks like he's been riding MTB for years. It was a bit jarring actually, because his physicality on MORR is so different. All thinking carefully and talking / explaining while standing around or driving.

    • Yup. There's certain things people who did BMX just don't forget. Like I've never wondered how to hit a drop. I've ridden off everything from picnic tables to garage roofs (ended badly) so even though it was 20 years later, there's some things you don't forget!

  • Going out for a ride with my dad, who just started three years ago at the age of 52 has become of my favorite things and a moment that I cherish. I really really cannot wait to ride with my kid. Awesome video as always!

  • Been watching Seth and mtbing for over 5 years, and just got into off roading and MORR this past year. Didn’t realize this was the collab I needed. Matt is an absolute sender on the MTB!!!

  • Woot, woot, Matt got a new bike. And he's a great rider. Hope to see more of the bike in the background on his channel. Hopefully, on his new weekly ride.

  • This is SO AWESOME!!! I’m 54 years old, and seeing Matt out there, way out his element as far as vehicle selection lol, but SLAYING it nonetheless was seriously impressive! Way to go Matt, and kudos to his sons for their support 😎. Seth, great job by you guys all around for the care and love of mountain biking 😎

  • E-bike for the win. Good job to Matt for ripping it, it's nice to see more people embracing pedal assisted MTB since they allow more riders to enjoy this beautiful outdoor activity.

  • I knew he would be the expert of line selection, but as a owner of that same bike I wasn't expecting that near static bunny hop! Awesome riding Matt!

  • This is honestly the best highlight of why ebikes are so great for hope they afford people accessibility to mountain biking when they might have skill but not necessarily the fitness.
