It didn't work but the refs liked him more. If you look at the VAR you can see the video was paused slightly after the ball got played, and that meant garnacho was off. When the ball was played, garnacho was onside.

I was saying this earlier, the way United set up right footer on left sid and vice versa. When do you ever see them put a ball in the box, or even square it. Never. Every other team makes the majority of there chances by getting down the wing and putting it in the danger area. Watching other teams whip cross after cross against us with our box flooded with opposition players annoys me so much.
