'The Marksman' James Willstrop just doing what he does. The Yorkshireman turns 40 this month (on 15 August to be precise), so in honour check out 40 of his most precise drives, drops, boasts, nicks and 'windmill' shots in this short video from Squash IQ. For more see www.squash-iq.com

When you can make Ramy Ashour pull those kind of faces of bewliderment and respect, you know you're a good squash player.
the fact 80% of players in these clips applauded his shots and not to forget they are professional players
Number 26 is honestly one of my favourite all time shots. It's so unspectacular, off a regulation length from Golan, but the beauty unfolds as it slides down the wall and gradually loses pace, becoming increasingly unplayable the whole way.
It is the perfect drive. Spot on.
Squash players' shot.
Awesome compilation dude! I appreciate your efforts
Thank you for these years of brutal entertainment stuff of high end Squash 😊
We need some 2007 Canary Wharf footage. His match vs. John White was an all time classic
You're so right my friend.
Willstrop is and was the most creative player in squash history
the pink colour scheme is the best for TV imo
That two-wall boast is lethal; so great to watch!
He is amazing. Shot no 40 is amazing. The most skillful squash player ever.
A quite superb squash player. And his book is a good read too
great compilation, thanks!
Excellent video
Nice video, please do more!
Amazing video!
An absolute delight!
Amazing athlete, happy beleted birthday.
My favourite player of all time. Ramy is a good second 🔥
ramy is on a whole new level of legendary imo, miss watching him on tour :"(
@@ngzijian14 miss him too. James is just my Personal favourite. Deception and precision like no other. Even against Ramy 😆
@@ngzijian14Army is great ! but don't deify him as everyone of us has our own favorite

Very nice sharing~
when you are a marksman but you play squash...the result is call accuracy
Watch 34, he wait that long till make the shot !!!! Amizing
Legend ! Low profile . Role model on and off court
This is a great comment and sums him up perfectly!
Awesome!!
that was T-I-I-G-G-H-T-TT.
WILSTROP ES EL RONALDINHO DEL SQUASH :D
Let me tell the world: There are squash players, Then there are squash players, and then there’s this fella without a doubt The Greatest Of All Time ! The real GOAT !
Jk x jk the greatest , he certainly up there
Yeah I get the JK’s … but different era’s… this fella has been on tour 20 plus years, competing against Uber athletes at speeds and equipment that’s a different level than the 70’s and 80’s… That’s why James Willstrop is the greatest squash player of all time…
@@freelanceplater1123 it would not mad any difference in which era he played in , still no contests
@@freelanceplater1123not really in the league of 555 consecutive wins...
@@huzcer read the book about that 555 was a fake number
Not sure if that ridiculous accuracy can be called IQ. Could be "GB" for game brilliance, while the length drives and the multi fakes.... thats the IQ bit.
1 2 3 thanks for the video off you go
Conrrado Moscoso nro 1 en el mundo BOLIVIA
Too bad not the whole rally of #40 is shown, the current take-out doesn't really do justice to the shot IMO.
gaechu
We used to have Willstrop and Ashour. Now we have Asal. No wonder people are switching to Padel instead.
Fuck... asal??
