  • That edge plainer is a game changer. I'm retired now but I would have liked to have that when I was hanging drywall.

  • #1, clean edges with drywall is critically important, and if this tool does what you say, it could be very useful. But I couldn't quite tell from the camera angle what the finished cut looked like.

    • Lol I ended up having to do some drywall repair at my mom's and I thought my dad had all the stuff there for that but there was no angle so I took a piece of 4x4 cut a few inch chunk cut that at a 45° and squared up the edges on my tablesaw then took an old windshield washer fluid bottle cut out a square and folded it over the edge and attached a handle to the back and bam perfect edge and feather tool made in 5 minutes for nothing and could chuck afterwards and not feel bad. I mean I end up making alot of jigs and stuff I need when I need them because I love making things and it's fun to figure out a problem and come up with a solution to it.

  • Don't get me wrong I'm a big Ryobi fan I have a lot of Robby cordless tools but I'm also a plumber and whatever you do don't use the stainless steel pinch clamps they cut into the pipe and they will leak I fix them all the time just use the copper crimp rings in a normal set of crimpers or a more professional set of crimpers that get into smaller places but those pinch clamps are bad news
