I agree that the uniqlo built in bra things are a life changer!! I have a bunch, but if you really like a very seamless look I would say be careful of the white/super light colours because I find that in those you can sort of see the shape of the built in bra

@EmmaHill and I meant that in the best way possible. Your style is the type that never goes out of fashion. Nothings worse than looking back at pictures and being like "WHAT THE HELL DID I HAVE ON?!" LOL When you dress in things that are classy and timeless you just can't go wrong!
I love that you point out constantly that you decide what the right size and fit is for your body. I feel the same way about slouchiness!
I’ve got the bra tops and I like them, the only thing I don’t like is that the white ones are see through. I think a nude bra attachment would be better then white on light colours
Thanks Emma, your tryons are always really helpful. For those viewers who have a bust size outside of the Uniqlo range (I'm a 30 G/GG) and in the UK, I can recommend Bravissimo for inbuilt bra tops and clothing 😎
Sagging is big concern it just defeats the whole purpose but thanks for the suggestion, i'll check it out
Unfortunately Uniqlo doesn't fit curvy bodies well. Since it's Japanese designed, and we all know that Japanese people are slim, their clothes just don't look good on people like me -- whether it's a top, pants, trousers, blouse or even dress. But Uniqlo clothing is a perfect fit for my daughter who is quite tall (5'7") and slim. That's why for me, my preference is Mango.
I wear a lot of linen during the summer and you've given me a lot to consider this was perfect timing
In uq store I often only see items made with polyester,so it is really not easy to find natural fibres there. They should work on this!
They use a lot of cotton and linen in their Spring/Summer collections
These bra tops are great on me!!!! I struggle with to much fabrics on tops. I’m only 158 cm, so these cropped bra tops are the perfect length - yay!
I love bottoms with back elastic, too. It’s not just the comfort, although that’s important, I love that they give while sitting, then tighten back up when standing. My hips are so narrow that without this feature, trousers can slide right down without some elastic. Great try-on haul, the bigger the better, in my opinion!
I’ve tried the bra tops and I LOVE THEM! I’m tall and quite busty (36dd) and they work just fine. Supportive and comfortable. I’ll be wearing them all season in our hot Atlanta summer. I bought a size large.

I just ordered the vests after seeing your instagram post, I’m 5ft4 and the vest goes over the top of my Uniqlo trousers by an inch or two, so safe on my height to stop the stomach showing. I’m also 34dd for reference (12-14) and the large seems fine.
I've only purchased two other things from Uniqlo before this, but I decided to pop in to have a look last month, and I just bought everything. So many great things this spring!. Those built-in bras are indeed life changing. Now I don't want to deal with bras at all for sleeveless items and tanks. This seems like a great channel btw. I really like your style and appreciate the honesty around what you would actually wear, versus things you'd keep if you didn't have similar items already, and then things you would pass on and why.
On a side note your hair looks so beautiful. The waves are so pretty ❤

😊 very well done, Emma. Thank you so much. It helps so much as we don't have a store nearby and I can only buy online. I have a different body type with shorter legs and the build in bras are not for me unfortunately, but it is very helpful to see a real person trying the clothes on. It actualy saves money because they charge a few Euros for the returns ❤
The green/white striped linen shirt isn't available in the US and I am DEVASTATED!!!!!! It's such a beautiful neutral summer piece! Might have to make a trip to the UK just for the shirt, haha.

My favorite style/clothing to see you wear is a pant suit, however the dresses looked very nice on you. I actually really liked the white dress. It was nice and sweet. I'm certain that dress in summer would be a good choice for a longer, flowy option.
Hi Emma, thank you for this video. I haven’t tried Uniqlo before. I noticed one of there stores when I was at the Battersea power station shopping centre in March this year. I love the elasticated waist shorts and trousers and the linen. I think next time I’m in Battersea I’m going to have a try on. Thanks so much. I’m on holiday in Dorset and it’s so cold. You are right. The length of those shorts is just about perfect. What I like about the skorts is that there are so many outside activities you can do in them. It's a good style for golf or tennis. The green shorts are something we call camping shorts in the US. If you want to go camping or hiking or fishing, those generous pockets are useful. You showed us some great selections.

Hi Emma, my favorite item are the knit vests. I wouldn’t say I’m a vest person but those open weave vests are really cute. I’ve seen a few designers feature their versions at the stores I shop at and I bought a white one. On an aside, my rule on sizing up only applies to anything white. White sweaters, white t-shirts, white tops I always buy a size larger because I like baggy and I don’t want anything too clingy or see-through. I love that mustard knit vest on you. ❤ I’m going to try that color. :) Thanks for your videos! I enjoy watching. 😊

Not all styles have a ‘short’ option but some do so always worth checking out. However Uniqlo do offer an alteration service in store as well x
I really like these try ons, Emma. They are very informative. I do like their linens and cotton choices. I'm not a polyester person at all. Could you do a new basic T shirt review? which are the best brands to buy? your hair looks great. 🙂

I tried on the pants at 05:50 last year, and they were so short on me! I was disappointed. I have some Uniqlo ladies' cargos that aren't too short. But I generally have to get Uniqlo men's pants (I am also 5'11".)
Hi Emma, thanks so much for doing this video. I would love to update my wardrobe this year (I can’t remember the last time I did) and your try on has given me some ideas. While I love some of the combinations of items you’ve put together I don’t think I have the confidence to pull them off (or the body shape). I will definitely be looking at dress 2 & 3 though 😊😊

That black set just hit me so hard that I ordered it immediately! I am at the end of my 2nd pregnancy but that set looked SO comfortable that I see myself wearing it during the summer months so ofter (after having the baby). I love the clothes you choose and it it so easy to find the right size based on your videos. Hi Emma. I really enjoyed this video! I loved everything besides, the dresses. I don’t think that the dresses featured are flattering. I think the length of them is what puts me off. The shorts featured are all amazing and I for sure will be adding a couple to my wardrobe once summer arrives . Thanks for sharing these wonderful pieces ❤
That slinky co ord on you is lovely! 🖤 Really great mix of items, love the linen shirts, shorts and that 1st cream fluted skirt dress with the pockets 😍. Concerned that the built in bra tops may not be enough for me, but saw a lot of comments saying they had bigger chests and they were ok. I’ve made notes of some of the items and will try and get through to the one up here soon for a mooch around. Did snap the bag up the other month, as with their other ones I love that the strap is long so I can wear it at my hip crossbody.
I have used the built in bra tops all winter while wild swimming. They are indeed a game changer.

I also loved the beigey linen Bermuda short set Carol Bouquet wore in the boat scene in For Your Eyes Only. We all want Julia’s wardrobe from Pretty Woman, too, except I wouldn’t wear the red evening dress. I love a Bermuda set with a sleeveless shirt, it’s very Safari-style.

I just got back from Portugal and wore the grey cropped bra top constantly I’m 42C and love it I’m also under 5 ft so the crop was OK but would love to see a longer version too
You should check out uniqlo’s shorts for men, their length, colour options and material composition are great

Yes I featured one of the longer length ones in the video it’s just that the ribbed standard racer back ones are only in the cropped length, in the UK anyway x

Because it’s not a haul. Hauls are items bought deliberately to keep, a try on is just trying stuff on. I also think the word haul gives off a negative message that buying large volumes of things is the norm, when it’s not x

I really liked the dress with sleeves as I don’t like my arms. The skort reminded me of the bottle green skort type of thing that I used to wear for hockey at school many decades ago. If I had the legs for them (I definitely don’t) I’d be quite tempted to try them. Uniqlo has some very nice items.
If you have legs, you can wear those pants. The days of limiting your outfit choices because of our figures are over!!! 🎉

I found the white linen trousers were totally see-through and you could see the pockets through the front - got mine in Canada so maybe the UK ones are better 🤔

I believe the paper is coated. We have paper cord stools at our kitchen counter and they have got wet before and are fine. The paper is to tightly compacted together to form the ‘cord’ that no water can really penetrate x

Hi Emma :) I’ve been using Uniqlo bra tops since they were first made years and years ago. As an Asian, we don’t do ‘nipple show’ (lol) so they’re a necessity! I do love those racerback tops so thanks for the review. Always been dissapointed that they are cropped. Looking forward to Uniqlo making them longer 🤞🏻🤞🏻. Anyway, I noticed that you have never done a Muji try-out. Do you have Muji clothes in the UK? They do THE BEST, practical, basic and well-designed cotton and linen products (my opinion, not evidenced-based). I love Uniqlo but I find my Muji products are the ones that ‘spark joy’ (in Marie Kondo’s words hehe). Just a suggestion for you to consider 😊. Xxx
We do have Muji stores but they mainly focus on all the home things so the clothing isn’t very well displayed and not much choice x

Loving the looks especially the dresses and black top but I always have a problem with linen - they look like I’ve just got out of bed, the creasing makes me look and feel shabby after an hour’s wear! Some people seem to wear it better than others. You wear it well.
Yes that’s often the problem with linen. It’s less likely to crease when it’s a linen blend like a lot of the Uniqlo pieces but my stance has always been that linen is a very carefree fabric so to wear it you kinda have to just embrace the creases and that laid back casual vibe that gives off x

I have given my size details in the description box and then next to every item I’ve put the size I’m wearing. I find sizing differs based on the item and how I like things to fit so the info in the description box should help x
None of the cropped bra tops you showed are actually cropped here in Japan, so they must do different designs for different regions? I would strongly prefer the cropped version.
I have tried the built in bra tops in black and white, I have a large bust 38 D , and the tops looked hideous, the bra cup portion was so obvious, just looked like two enormous saucers had been placed under the tee shirt. I returned both, love the idea, but sadly not for me😔
Agree, the padding is too much and shape is a bit off. I hope Uniqlo improves them and releases the perfect ones

I have a long torso and they’re not ‘that’ cropped on me so if your petite they may well come up as normal length 🙌🏼❤️
