It's so frustrating. Looking at our record you wonder how in earth are we not winning the league? City have been so average compared to us - so many matches like against Forest where they've been jammy. But they keep on winning like a machine. We have to be perfect to beat them. The Villa, West Ham and Fulham losses have done us. If we could even have drawn those games we could win the PL.

It’s really simple, winning becomes a habit. Plus reputation proceeds you so half the games you win before walking out on the pitch. One of Rayas first proper mistakes since luton. Distribution was very good and came and claimed crosses well and calmed everything down after conceding. Yes it was a big mistake but every playing keeper have these kind of mistakes
Raya made a huge error today, but playing out from the back this happens. Ederson and Alisson have made howlers in the prem and the ucl it’s unfortunate. The guy is on for a golden glove, no way can we look for another keeper this summer.

Raya is an upgrade on Ramsdale in terms of composure, passing and collecting crosses. He's allowed a couple of mistakes a season. My only concern is we haven't seen him have a clutch game in terms of saves, where you can honestly say he won us the game. But that's because we have defended so well as a team and his calmness has contributed to that.

Agreed that Spurs were better in general in the first half but the difference was we were clinical.Second half and we were dominating then Raya has a brain freeze.Spurs wouldn't have had a sniff if that hadn't happened and probably would have ended up 4 or 5 nil.
Kai Havertz is a household name in Germany like Saka. Had a great run at Leverkusen. Just like Wirtz and Xhaka had this season there. His time at Chelsea didnt do his confidence any good.
I like Turkish. Enjoy his interviews. What I would say here though is that Raya is a human being asked to play a high-risk game at the top level. If you want him to be brave, if you want him to open out the play by being an extra man or drawing the opposition in to make it 10 on 9, you’re going to have to swallow the odd mistake. It’s how you bounce back. No goal conceded away for 6 games - 13 halves of football. Immaculate handling for most of the game today. Let’s not talk about replacing him if he does it again etc. We are nowhere there. Also, if we win the last 3 games how does that make us champions? We’re a point behind City and the only game of concern they have is Spurs and we better pray Spurs are fighting still fighting for CL or that could easily be a fairly comfortable City win. If an outfield player makes a mistake, more than likely nothing will come of it, if a keeper makes a mistake, its a goal. We're all human and people make mistakes. The most important thing is that he kept his cool, stayed calm and handled the ball perfectly after that. After the game, he went to the fans and held his hands up to apologise, it takes courage to do that and a lot of people would've tried to hide after dropping a clanger.
