You don’t get to be an athlete of that level without confidence and an unrelenting belief in your abilities. You have to have that top dog attitude in order to succeed in boxing, even if you’re not vocal about it like George is. Look at Bivol, he’s a quiet guy relatively speaking but he’s extremely confident and he knows what he can do.
You have to 100% believe you’re gonna win before you step through those ropes or you’re in trouble. Have you ever seen a fighter that says he’s not sure if he’s gonna beat his opponent? And that’s absolutely nothing against George. What he’s accomplished is unbelievable
