8:17 I couldn't believe when I saw the zombie climbing up the ladder. As far as I knew they couldn't do it... and they actually can't. Turns out the trap doors are what made the ladders "climbable" to the zombies. I had to test it in game and that was actually it. The AI pathing allows going through trap doors, that's why you can use it to lure mobs over pits, but I would never expect them to allow them to climb. It's hilarious that Scar always finds a way to make his designs more mob-friendly.

Idk if this is version exclusive but in Bedrock Zombies CAN climb ladders WITHOUT trapdoors. Maybe Java doesn't have that, huh
Zombies can climb ladders but i think the trapdoors help with the pathfinsing but there is nothing that makes it imposible to climb ladders

The first thing everybody did was to wear salmon heads on the first day. _Then_ the noteblock thing happened with the Mountaineers. But people had already been wearing fish heads beforehand. They're just. Like that now, I guess! The sound definitely helped but it's a bunch of factors I believe.

XD It is episodes like this that make everyone doubt Scar's abilities in the Life series. But Scar has done remarkably well in that series. Scar only remembers how to play Minecraft when the embarrassment of his friends is on the line.
I've decided that Scar only lasts as long as he does in that series because everyone just assumes he's going to do something dumb and end up ending himself randomly, so everyone else just leaves him alone.
I'm new to HC, but it seems like pretending to be terrible at the game is Scar's thing. He's clearly an extremely talented builder and I love his content, but I think he could play much better if he were actually trying hard? Maybe he just doesn't want to on HC because that's not what this series is about??

Seeing the grian episode first, and now watching this. 😂 There were indeed 3 creepers in the same place.
21:36 That sly dog is saying he only had one crystal, while holding it and quickly switching back when Iskall looks back. I do love Iskall though. He finds one of the best builders on the server, and encourages him to "improve" his house with 100% dirt. But man, that grinding is crazy. Scar starts the episode with 3 diamonds to his name, dies repeatedly, has fun with Iskall, then suddenly cuts to a giant stack of diamond blocks, 16 pieces of enchanted equipment, and an insane number of copper blocks. Scar is a grinding machine.

As a train enthusiast myself I have to say something Scar asks, how do they see where they're going? They do not sit in the middle of the train. They sit on the side and lean out the windowto see Ahead The wooden Cross sections of a railroad are called ties. Also great video. Keep it up.
Yeah, this also applies to the more modern railway trains. It's true they also have your usual glass window nowadays, but they still do that while they're leaving the station!

I feel like scar definetely has some PTSD when it comes to blowing up other people's bases.
For someone so insistent on the non-clown-ness of his train, this entire episode felt like it could've been set to the tune of Julius Fučík's "Entrance of the Gladiators" -- or, as everybody seems to know it, 'the Clown Theme'.
I love how the panic response to blowing something up is compliments. First with the tunnel bore and now the enchanting set up. Compliment and hope it works.
I know it sounds strange, but thank you for including all the deaths and moments of messing up. As someone who's recently had some frustrations in Minecraft with dying a lot and losing items, it's nice to see hermits and Minecrafters I look up to ending up in similar situations that stop me feeling at bad about it. Also that kill was incredible

You didn't listen to the instructions Doc and Etho tried to give you about the end crystals. It doesn't damage people who are standing one block lower and right next to it. Because apparently in Minecraft you only get damage from explosions at your feet. You were standing farther so the damage did get to your feet. So you actually killed Iskall in the end _because he jumped away onto the higher terrain._
