Right? There is no DOUBT that lilifilm 3 is absolutely incredible and those little critiques don't take away from how engaging the performance is but I can definitely see what he's talking about. Pointing the toes more, being more flexible etc.

There's a reason why Lilifilm #4 is my fave! She jsut looks so comfortable (given how this genre is her background) and she looks amazing doing it! Props to Chesire Lee (short girl from Lilifilm#4) for some of the choreography!
Love Merv's reactions. He seriously watches each video not just to critique but also to enjoy as a dancer. His breakdown of Lisa technique in Film 3 is what I love. It comes from a place of knowing but also giving respect to the artist for achieving what they could. Lili 1 & 2 was in 2019, Lili 3 was in 2020, so I wonder if that break during Covid and lack of performing could have been the reason for her lack of flexibility.

I really liked the way he broke down the moves…now just some FYI, Lisa isn’t that tall..she’s only 5’5” tall, 166.5cm, but she’s been blessed with long arms and killer long legs that make her look tall. Lisa has been dancing since she was 3 years old…she competed in many children’s and junior dance competitions, in a popular dance group in Thailand, before starting to train in Kpop under YG. She actually beat out 3,999 others to win her spot as a YG trainee in S. Korea when she was 12/13 years old.Her flexibility issue may have been from being under COVID and Blackpink not performing…She has had so many famous choreographers in SKorea state they weren’t sure who was giving/receiving lessons! Most of the time Lisa performs, sans the BP group, her “dancers” are all professional choreographers…her standard and expertise is super high, known as one of the best in Kpop.
This is the best channel to see reactions about Lisa, because we fans who don't know much about dance only enjoy what she transmits to us, but they are professionals, they do understand the potential that Lisa has! ❤
I LOVED the reaction and how technical he got for LiliFilm 3, SO interesting! I wish more reactors who are professional dancers broke down the moves focusing on what could be improved or highlighting how difficult something is instead of just generically saying that someone's good!

Yaaasss!!! I love how some people really can see her hard work!!! Because she IS working hard and improving her skills everytime. ALWAYS reactors like "she's gifted" "she's naturally talented" it's not bad thing, BUT what I mean she's working so f cking hard to look like it's natural. Sometimes fans ignores that fact about her and she doesn't get enough credits for her hard work.

#2 and the Film are my favorites... fun factoid, after Lisa dropped The Film video the artist whose song she used ("Tomboy" by Destiny Rogers) says she was broke, and about to give up and move back in with her family when all of a sudden her phone/social media started blowin' up, which is how she found out that Lisa had used her song... the song suddenly did very well, even though it had been out a few years and because of it, it allowed her to keep working on her music. ☺ Merv commenting on Lisa's flexibility reminds me that he needs a deep dive into Ten (Mr No Bones himself).
Oooh yes!! I totally want Lisa to do more heel choreo like that because it would be so cool to see! She also dabbled in some pole dancing too for her solo single and her performances on tour. Love your insight! We need more lilifilms!

For the No#3 ,it was actually her first time dancing in heels, and she said that it was not her best because it was her first time dancing in heels and she needed more practice 😊

Yay, you showed him! Thanks for the breakdown. It's always interesting to listen to the takes of other professionals. Lisa is actually a lot more flexible than these show. If you watch her solo stage of Take Me + Swalla + Senorita from the Sydney cam, you can actually see how flexible she is. Especially during Senorita. Her body isolations are crazy during Take Me as well.
Lisa is actually extremely flexible. Her choreographer just didn’t make the moves to show her flexibility in these videos. They were more to show her versatility than anything else. And that was her first time doing choreo in heels.

Lisa's dances are always something else, powerful and professional! She is very talented, but unfortunately the company does not allow her to show more of her dancing talent! And this is sad because Lisa is the main dancer of the group and should show more of her talent in dance! This guy is so on point. When I first watched film #3 I felt like it was just missing something in the performance and when he pointed out the need for her to be more flexible it made so much sense. Coincidentally number 4 and the movie are my favorite and he’s right it’s probably cause she’s in her groove and she also improved a lot in between the first film and the last. Great constructive critique!

this type of dancing the crazy horse saloon type i call it, i think she only recently started exploring this area of dance it really suits her well because i know i can tell she has it in her yea she looks great very engaging but i think she be like yeah flexible if she had the right trainer. this girl is truly a genius she is the type of dancer that you can just show her once or twice and she look like she been doing it forever she is a fast picup on any choreography if you venture into some of her dance videos such as her practices and rehearsals with her choreographer you see it she is fast
