  • One year ago, I quit alcohol for 30 days. 12 months later I am still a non-drinker. One of the best habits I ever adopted.

  • Thank you so much for this video, Matt. I've been trying to do various self-help stuff to lift myself from depression, including quitting sugar and caffeine. Then I came across this video and all the things you mentioned resonate with myself so much that I almost cried. These small things are actually huge, and yes they can save lives. I hope more people see this precious video. Thank you!

  • I appreciate your thoughtfulness in every video. I can really tell, even 3 years later, that you put lots of effort in every word said.

  • I gave up chocolate for a month & then donated money I saved to the British Heart Foundation. There's also a few challenges where you only drink water for a week & the money you save from buying coffee, tea, fizzy drinks, alcohol etc. you donate that to a charity based around water, be it building wells in 3rd world countries or lifeboat search & rescue or providing swimming lessons for disadvantaged kids.

  • I loved your comment about 'the flinch'. That resonates with me. I think my biggest character growth has come from pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Breaking past 'the flinch' moment gets easier and easier - controlling my shyness with peopler, making new friends, trying new things. This one affected me the most. Your videos are amazing - thank you!

  • Acts of kindness for 30 days. 1 intentional act of kindness to make a stranger's day everyday. it taught me to be intentional with the ones I love and showed me how to love or show love to someone who doesn't know me. Helped build my self confidence and social confidence. if you would like more details feel free to ask!

  • "Routine is not about building a habit, it's about building an endurance towards discomfort, frustration and disappointments. Routines helps you build a skillset of choosing and doing the hard things which opens the world of possibilities." Veronica Marie 🖤
