Lol awesome
intro
Lol!
I love how happy he is over a bus.
if you compare it to buying an apartment, it’s totally valid tho
@nobodyaskedforyournegativity
Buslife is life.
Well I mean it’s kinda his house
@@conmankiller0174 it wasn’t negativity I was genuine
I was once a happy af 21 year old with dreams of a bus. But I was to busy trying to survive and not be homeless. Unfortunately I lacked the foundation this man is privileged to have. A place to work on the bus without constant harassment to be towed is a gift. The family this man has is a privilege. The access to tools and support is a true blessing. I hope this man understands the privilege he has. He truly is living the dream when most people his age are just trying to survive. Many blessings
I hope one day you find that opportunity!
You have.to get far enough ahead to pay to store it during conversion. It sucks but it is what it is.
@@maxmccullough8548 have you done this? if so, where did you store yours?
@@RecaJ333 Boat storage yard. Make sure they allow you to do maintenance at the lot.
@@maxmccullough8548 I never would have thought of this! Thank you so much!!
You could raise the top, even if it’s just down the middle so you could stand comfortably
I definitely will one day
@@TheoGoff one year later hope you will do it soon!!!
I hope you sold those seats that you removed ( more money towards your build). IKEA is a good place to shop too. I'll be watching. Good luck :) I have seen people raise the roof on their schoolies
Where would you sell em
@@ShadowCraft1195 try Facebook market place, Craigslist, Google "for sale by owner"sites
good looking out!
Small kiddie seats with only one side with feet aren't worth as much as they are with the vinyl and foam stripped off for metal. I'm working on the same size kiddie bus, (daycare) and I've got a 25 fresh and 30 gallon grey water tank under the floor and a shower and sink, 10 gallon water heater, mini fridge. My bed is on 2 of the original seat platforms cut off.
Mark my words!! 5 years from now, Theo you'll be a millionaire. Don't change stay cool keep full sending life We love you❤️
I appreciate that you believe in me! That’s the goal man!!!
I'm so glad you were able to achieve this dream of yours! I'm inspired and wanted to ask how its going as far as any surprises (maintaining the bus, crossing state borders, property/auto taxes?, plumbing)
thank you for the content, I have dreams of living in a skoolie so your build just gives me more ideas :)
That's bad ass. I recommend this to a thin skinned acquaintance of mine who got all butt hurt and said, "why would I get a special ED bus". I gave him the idea to get one of these because their cool. He got all bent out of shape. Thats a bad ass build my friend.
DUUUDEEE i loovee this I am currently looking at school buses because I want to visit all 50 states!! haha im soo excited
Anti-gel goes in the fuel tank and then spray ether directly into the engine intake. Perseverance, and she should fire. Battery heater and a block heater are necessary if you want to live north of Florida. Happy trails from a friendly Canadian, cheers!
That will be a legendary Theo! Proud of you for living your dream you are such an inspiration!!!!!
Thank you. Hope you chase your dreams too
Theo Geoff your enthusiasm is Golden!!! May your journeys be Fun, Safe and Sustainable🌴🌞🏄🏽
Was looking into doing this and getting ideas. Thank you for showing that it doesn’t take a fortune to convert. I also live in Tampa! Lol
I'm thinking of doing the same thing!!! Thank you I'm so excited!!!!
Yeah buddy!!! So exciting! I've got my eye on a shuttle bus, gotta save a bit more. Can't wait to see what you do with it! 🙌❤️
Thank you!! I can’t wait to see what I do too
This is dope! Can’t wait to convert my own
Theo what a super video! Really fun to see the transformation! You did a great job in converting it.
Thank you mike! I’m glad you liked it
Simply putting it; This is my type of guy! The extreme travel and the nomadic heart🙌
Theo!! This is so freaking cool, I want to live in a tiny house or converted bus. I'm so excited for the adventures your gonna have with your bus :D!
You are going to love it 😍
I literally bought that exact same bus in Colorado 5 years ago. Four windows 5'8", collins and everything. Lived in it for two years but unfprtunatley had no idea about youtube at the time. Hardest part was finding insurance lol
Nice set up, I have the same thrown together in a 95 Dodge Ram van bus, super chill to park probably just same size as yours.
So many questions ! How did you make the bed and out of what materials? How are bed, sink and cabinets secured to floor/walls?
Thank you posting, this is exactly what I was concerned about when embarking on a skoolie tiny house vs a tiny house on a trailer. With a tiny house on a trailer, I can always rent a tow vehicle to pull it, but if the skoolie breaks down...
I love it. And this baby will go forever
You should paint the outside😱
Any school bus that is decommissioned cannot be painted National School Bus Yellow.
He actually has to. It's not legal. Same with ambulances
@@atx-cvpi_99 I've never heard anybody getting a ticket or reprimanded for having a yellow school bus in the skoolie bus community, ever.
I've got the same sized GMC. A Canadian Cobiel Body. Stock 1 ton rear van frame as far as I can tell. Single rear wheels, Narrow like his. Luckily I'm not as tall as he is He's Young, that excitement will carry him a long way. I'm retired. Getting it finished, can't wait to hit the road.
I'm in the White Mountains New Hampshire!! My 8 year old daughter and I are working on ours now!! If ever you are in the area... Super Excited for you!!!!
i was jus watching ur videos on tiktok (salahs page) and ive been wanting to do a bus conversion for the longest
Dude this is such an awesome project, it shows how excited you are. Living on the road, traveling the entire country? Hell yeah dude! If you ever end up in the Carolinas, I’ll definitely hit you up to go cliff jumping or something.
Oh I’m so down bro count me in
Love this video!!! Ok! Please be careful out there! People are good for the most part, but be careful of those who aren’t! My sons about ur age so here it goes.... PLEEEEEZ lift your roof. Your young, you don’t feel it now, but in due time you’ll feel it! I’m a nurse and I’ve seen many ppl practice bad habits in their 20’s and are paying the price about 45 y/o. Thanks for sharing! I love your bus! Can’t wait to see more
I absolutely will. I take care of my body pretty well.
Thank you
nice keep it movin keep it positive im not far behind ya im going to be ripping my bus apart this month see you out their
This is my dream! You inspire me! 😃How did you find the silent auction where you bought the bus?
I Love your Journey!!! I's just Great! I'm looking for my 1st bus. I just need a place to build it! Seeing how quickly you built yours out just makes me want to find and create mine even More!! Hey listen theres a dude on one of my FB Skoolie pages' that travels and helps people with raising roofs! Roof raises .. whatever their called but You need to totally consider that. You're not done growing til your like 25 so wouldn't be surprised if you picked up another inch or 2!
Yeah I don’t mind it for now but for now I’m good with lifting the emergency exit to get in
Yo hi theo love your vid you should paint it very inspirational have a nice rest of your day much respect man
Will do
I'm seriously thinking about getting a bus to live in. I don't want roommates or expensive rent. So this is helpful. The one I'm looking at is a little bigger but not huge, perfect I think. And it's already started. I hope I get it.
exactly what i wanted, thanks for sharing!
Dude, that Rocky Mountain travel montage was filthy!! Awesome job, can't wait to see more!
Thank you bro I’m going to start saying that now FILTHY 😂
@@TheoGoff You for sure should! I'm a chick, btw. I'm part of the family that gave you guys the fake hand and the student driver magnets in CO 😂
So happy for you! Loved the random goat inside the bus
LOVE THIS !!! Well played guys xx
Nice video! Happy travels ☀️🌻
So awesome! I’m thinking about doing this with my kids.
So inspirational!!! Seriously awesome!
At the beginning of this video, love the pair of "Where's Waldo" socks. I was hoping to see more of the exterior and interior of his little bus transformation. Instead, all I saw was a video of his pimplly face, manicured finger nails, and Palmolive hands.
Theo, I am laughing right now. We are the current owners of this bus! We bought it from you July 2020 and have built it out further and had it ever since! I just stumbled across this video searching “budget skoolie builds” and recognized the bus model and your name from the title. Small world!
Thanks for the inspiration my friend!
Nice vid! I’m here from watching ibp. Let me know when you’re stopping by Chicago! Keep up the great work!
Will do
Great job...my favorite part? The goat inspecting the bus.
Cool bus man. Good luck and wish you the best of luck
Make your journey 💯 enjoy your life we only get one lifetime.. thanks for sharing 🤗
enjoyed the vid..keep"em coming...liked and subbed :)
Bro awesome bus I wish I had one like that, looks comfy and cool
Where is the seating you said you were putting in for Friends?? I didn't see any.
Did anybody else notice how freaking blue his eyes are
Are you simping over eyes?
Piercingly intense.
Do you mind, do you know what your average MPG is after the build?
They will not let you into Canada or Mexico as long as those school bus lights are still on it plus it must be painted another color. You also have to have your paperwork changed over to RV status from bus status.
I love the casual goat appearance in the bus 😂😂💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 so awesome
I wish you all the best in your travels in your new home, be sure to come to Canada.
Since you changed the front seats make sure they are safe and that they have a working seatbelts , i hope you have many many adventures in your new bus happy travels !
Oh trust me they are better than the old one! Super safe and yes seat belts
I eliminated the belt in mine. It was optional for the year . So if it ain't installed no seat belt tickets lol.
He’s so happy it’s amazing😂
So I’m wondering how it’s going. I am 6’2”. Has this been a problem for you?
excited for ya! i hitch hiked down to key west from indiana, and lived in a vw bus back in the 70's! put that thing in a shipping container and come on over here to thailand. grandpa dan the bamboo man will have a friendly hand out for ya if ya need it.
That’s a beautiful story I’d love to hear more about your travels! That sounds so amazing
@@TheoGoff it's been a long and winding road of human rights work across asia, africa, mid east, and europe. Keep your fire burning. But maybe? Some extra flame will come? If you? Consider things like...stopping here and there, doing some community development work? In poor areas for a week or so? Then, moving on to where ever the fire leads? Across the globe?
Make and model please .... I'm in love with this style of bus, I've already got all my plans.
I'm 75 I'm living in a bus and I love it and it is an old school bus and yes we are converting it
Great that your family helps you! Nice bus, plus not soo big can't get into parking spots! In cold weather, ya gotta put additives in diesel fuel so it will not gel! Will be following you, because I was wanting a bus like that also! Please tell us what your fuel mileage is. Thks, drive safe!
16 on the highway
New subbie!! This is awesome
If you or someone you know knows how to weld and has experience with structural integrity you can raise the roof on the bus
I will one day
The full send ♨️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
I know that if I ever went this route. Van/bus living. I wouldn't be able to work mobile or work at home. My plan would have to be working grave shifts. Like I've been doing for the last 2 years. Then sleeping in the day. When I do it this way. I can just go park at Walmart or wherever. Then leave for my shift at night. Better this way so I always have a place to park 😅
That is actually really cool I want one lol
Hell yeah get one
A tips is to check the windows for water leekage cause I had that problem on my bus you can just use a hose
Thank you
You are the craziest sickest awesomeness KZhead Your also the best Vlogger I’ve ever watched
Hi “big brother” like your bus!!🤣
Thanks sis
Sweet bro! I’d love to do this
11:00 YOOOO if thats emerald lake, I went swimming there once!
I bet that was cold
@@TheoGoff yeah crazy cold lol
This is fire bro !
Nice.....Another one!
How do you get running water?
Enjoy your adventure!!!
How do you get running water??
Enjoy the journey! Love coming from the Caribbean
Thank you for the support! Hope you have a good week
how much was the bus. me and my friend are trying to do this but we are on a budget because we are paying for it ourselves
You can always mount a taller roof or tent on top, later.
Hello. What's mile per gallon in your tiny home?
Just wondering if you don’t regret not insulating better now that it’s 5 months later.
Looks like a fun project. If you can get the vehicle insurance sorted out on it, the rest is easy.
For sure I got lucky with insurance and my parents letting me pay them
“Something for the ladies” lol you mean SALAHHHH 💕
Where is the best places to park your bus and rest for the night?
There are times, all in reminiscing, that I never left Colorado ! Still have that 'Rocky Mountain High' in me ! 😎
It’s the best place in the world!
i have a dream to renovate a full bus to sleep 10! i have to start a go fund me though cause i don’t have that kind of money 😂
Keep it up and you’ll get very far
Come to Cali!!! We have some amazing spots in Monterey county!!
I will spend months in Cali
Great job
Love the new intro music
bro update: what was wring with the engine and how did you fix it?
I'm in the process of converting a similar bus, what did you use to fill in the bolt holes where the seats were
i’ve seen a lot of people use pennies and caulk
@@naomirogers3306 thank youu that's a really great idea
Its will be a fun project. we are currently converting a full size bus.
Awesome that’s amazing
Love the vid💗
HEY THEO CANT WAIT TO SEE THE BANGER
Man. I'd take this any day over an expensive rv .. you did a great job considering it only cost you $1200.
What version is this song? I like it.
