Guys, just like flipkart is not an amazon parody, this show is not a Fallon parody. Online shopping, late night talk shows and even roasts are only concepts, which are not patented/trademarked. Edit: For people who think I don't know what parody means, just see the comment by Shehenshah TV. I used the word parody to demonstrate the ignorance of Indian youth (Case in point: Shehenshah TV) towards comedy and late night genre. BC logo ko lagta hai ki Indian late night to Kapil Sharma Show jaisa hona chahiye.

You got a point. Obviously none of this is patented or trademarked. But the analogy doesn't entirely apply. What Abish did before this felt more original. The setting here is pretty much the same as late night talk shows (The seating, background skyscrapers, etc). Talk show is a concept but not the entire implementation of it.
Well then tell me which talk show is this inspired from? Is it Conan, Leno, Letterman, Colbert, Fallon, Kimmel, Ferguson, Carson or some other? Which one really? All their sets are same. It's better for now to look at what's different. (e.g. the weird Parle-G segment, pre-wedding videos). It's a good thing too that they're self aware and themselves making fun of the set. I think this show's got potential so we can only hope they try to bring much more originality to it while maintaining the humor.

Jimmy Fallon was inspired by Jay Leno and David Letterman. And they were inspired by talk show hosts before them. It's just how it slowly evolves.

There's nothing really original about this honestly. Even the format is copied from the Jimmy Kimmel Show, and the opening is exactly the same in an Indian context.

I agree, the editing is off and he and Tanmay come off a bit yelly, and the quality of stand up material is not up to Abish's standard. But this is not a "Desi Fallon". Please google 'Movers and Shakers', the original Indian late night show hosted by Shekhar Suman in late 90s. And I like that you don't respond with hate or name calling...very classy! :)
