Makes 15-20 candy crystals
THINGS YOU'LL NEED
Ingredients
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon agar agar
1 ¾ cups cool water
3 ¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon candy flavor oil
¼ teaspoon citric acid
Decorations
Gold luster dust
Silver luster dust
Airbrush food colors
White gel food color
Almond extract
Equipment
Medium saucepan
8x8 Glass dish
Paintbrushes
Spatula
Two heatproof measuring cups
Half sheet pans
Wax paper
Cutting board
Sharp knife
I hope you enjoy today' #Tutorial #Gummy video! We made many different types of Crystal #candy using a lot of different colors, sizes and shapes! We used every color of the rainbow when making these treats.
They are super easy to make and dont take much time at all to start, however you will have to leave them out to harden over multiple days!
These gummy candies are soft on the inside and have a satisfying ASMR worthy crunch on the outside. They make the perfect gift for anyone in your life who likes Gems, Crystals, Candy, Fun Colors, and more! They are essentially edible art!

  • The second candy made me want to name it "Island Crystal Candy" because the green and the blue made me think of a green island shore close to the water. Another beautiful creation by everyone's favorite Cinnamon Roll! Hehe!

    • I've seen people sell freeze dried candy! By the looks of it the candy always puffs up and becomes very very crunchy!

  • ❤ I made these yesterday and am SO happy! They'll make the perfect party bag gift for my child's pirate theme birthday. If anyone else tries this out, my tip is - do not keep the knife/hands wet when cutting the crystals. It makes the drying time longer 👍 Thank you for your very clear instructions! Wish I could show you them.

    • I tried the recipe, the only thing that failed for me was that she didn’t say which brand to use of the agar agar as I did purchase agar agar but it wasn’t working because you need a certain brand of agar agar which is a trophy agar agar which is in a white blue and red packet and i just thought all agar agar was the same but turns out it isn’t and after I got the trophy brand, it has started to work for me and I flavoured mine pineapple, and soon I will be doing strawberry and Musk
