I heard a rumor about Mojang ditching Java version and going completely with bedrock, but if theyre going to do that, they had better stop dishing out this sort of crap, and they had better put Java stuff in as well, (Axe damage, hold right click for shield, hardcore mode, the F3 screen, doors making a air pocket in water, and much more)
Looking at all the things added with the 24w14potato snapshot, the Java version is really extensive. Makes me wonder if people wanted it hard enough Mojang would say the potato dimension is legit and you can enter it anytime. Here's hoping!
not looking to be the downer in this situation, but the half-baked textures and mobs would likely not be the case. What is important to look at is all the new functions they threw into this one, because there are many cases were the April Fools joke predicted later additions to the real game.
It has something to do with the limitations of bedrock add-ons that's why
Microsoft would never allow stuff like that to come to the base game.

Honestly, Bedrock might as well not have even gotten included. We got like 5% of the stuff that Java Edition got, we didn't get the dimension which was the whole thing about the update, and we can't get achievements/trophies if we play with the update.

not to mention how the bedrock update only has poisonous potato furniture, balloons, minecart, blocks etc, none of the cool things like the dungeon or the dimension or the air block

The MUTATO mob behaves like the wolf. Will follow you when tamed, will teleport to you if you get too far away, and will attack any creatire you hit

The effort you see is the ability to go off the rails, because it's on an experimental version that is fully warning that it's not meant for your permanent worlds AND it's only on Java. The rest of the time with the main game's development in mind, they WILL NOT put anything out that isn't fully fleshed and will be coming in a new update. They won't let things like Bundles ever happen again. So you can call all of their typical releases a lack of effort, but it's genuinely more than likely hundreds of concepts that die because they don't fit the base game enough.

Outro joke was cute, 7/10. I wish you hadn’t felt like you had to do all this today, Toycat; you were making MY asthmatic chest feel congested here! Pro tip: if you don’t have a vaporizer/humidifier, you can get the same effect by running a light shower in the bathroom, turning off the fan, making yourself comfortable with some blankets on the floor (maybe a pillow or two), and just hanging out there for as long as you can stand it/until the hot water runs out. Hot liquids, hot soup; take it easy, man! ❤

i enchanted the Pois Netherite sword with sharpness 5 and it does 24 damage , and is enough to one shot any player size Mob , and can kill warden with 18 hits (strenght 2 potion )

Yeahhh I'm not impressed... the balloon is cool though. But really this feels like a bad joke. No offense to the creator it's not their fault. I understand that's alot of extra coding for experiments and jokes but this was in bad taste imo.

I don't think custom dimensions are a part of the addon api yet
I think bedrock is better for a close to vanilla experience while still having new game changing items, while Java is better for going all out on the nonsense, to the point where it is the opposite of a vanilla experience in every way in both gameplay and additions
I hope they will reuse some ideas. Like some paintings, flowers... and floating! They basically always add something from those snapshots

You missed the baked poisonous potato, the baked poisonous potato gives a random lvl 5 effect for 25 seconds I believe and the time doesn't stack
