  • I had a black lab that had both hind ACLs repaired and at least 4 lumps removed due to cancer and both front paws had to be partially amputated due to cancer between her toes. She was my baby. She lived to be almost 16. She was such a good girl. She is so missed. Hoping good news for this sweet boy

  • I think the reason these owners "abandoned such a lovely dog" is due to money. I am not saying what they did right, but vet bills are EXPENSIVE and there is little help anyone can give towards vet bills in the UK. I am not sure how old this episode is, but these days people can barely feed themselves and so a vet bill would be more than they can afford. Most rescues are full and can't take on more dogs, so likely the owners felt like they were helpless and abandoning him was the only thing they could do. It sounds like they left him outside the rescue, which is better than dumping him in the middle of no-where. It's evident that this dog was previously cared for well by his last family; he previously had surgery and was well fed, a dog that wasn't loved would not be in such a good shape. AGAIN; I am not saying abandoning this dog was the right choice, but I think the rescue people in this situation needs to realise that not everyone is in the situation to afford vet bills and at some point the dog will need vet checks. It's okay to say; well they shouldn't have pets. BUT they likely got the dog before prices rose and before vet bills exploded.

  • What a beautiful and sweet cat. Even with no vision he was just so calm! I would’ve expected a newly blind cat to get scared and agitated, but he seemed so unphaaed.

  • Even if the cat was permanently blind, he could still live a decent life. I had a cat (my first baby) who went blind suddenly. She lived well until some neighbour poisoned her and she died before we got her to the vet. 😢

  • If he had to have the leg amputated couldn't he be put in a type of cart where he could still use his other legs. Animals are more adaptable to these types of changes than people.

  • Once again Bondi vet this is a very old video that has been reposted many times. Dr Scott now has his own show Rescue Vet but I hope he would still be available to be one of the vets on any of your new episodes if you ever get around to making any more!!! New content and new series please and stop regurgitating these old episodes over and over again!!! You should have the capacity and capability to make a new series by now!!!! It’s 2024!!!! Let’s see some content made in 2024!!!! 🤣😆😫😂
