  • 6 years ago i started my search for this song. when i was a young child my dad would listen to black eyed peas in the car but i couldn’t comprehend that this was their song. and 6 years ago i remembered the beat and 3 words, i looked for hours to try and find it and never could. in the next pursuing years i would go on to try and find it with no progress. tonight at 1:10 am i remembered more lyrics from the depths of my memory, and it led me to this song. i waited with baited breath to see if this was the song i had been searching for all these years. i then i heard it “turn it up”. i did it, i finally did it. i can die happy now.

I may have expressed myself in a wrong way, the thing about the lawsuit was about the writing credits. But it is true that they put both Britney and Tulisa's vocals on the track. If you read the story or watch interviews, this song was going to be Tulisa's single on her album with a different title ("I don't give a fuck" i think), she had already recorded it and they made Britney sing over her vocals in her accent. Then basically she said that one day she woke up and heard her song on the radio sang by Britney. I don't blame Britney or want to discredit her in any way, I just think the producers screwed over Tulisa.
