Over the last year I've built a rather simple, but long highway in Minecraft. It was all done by hand, no commands used. It's basically been an off-time project. A place to go to if I'm bored, or out of ideas to do something else. I decided early on to make it 10 000 blocks long, and I finally made it there. I plan on doing 10 000 blocks in the opposite direction too, but I'm not sure I'll ever do a video on that, if I finish it. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video. I love timelapses like this. It is nice to see how the environment changes along the 10k blocks long road. I would not have the patience to make that without commands
It was so tempting to do it at the end, at the 10k sign... that part alone took me a week. Though, again, only using my off-time, so I didn't sit there for hours left clicking... The jungle at the start of the time lapse, after getting onto the main road, took about a month to get through... jungles are a pain. I'm not sure if my stats reset at some point, but total playtime on that world is 11.7 days, which might be accurate, considering I only build every now and then.

bro as a cities skylines and minecraft player this is so true i build a parclo that works very well irl, right? turn off despawning and BAM! instant jam! TMPE helps a bit but not enough

Im building an interstate on my minecraft world and it's going to be 10 miles and the interstate is still 2 miles
i’m building a whole ass road system and i only have 100 blocks of eastbound lane done but it took 3 hours in survival ;-;
