I was there on Jan 8th, 2024, shocked and awestruck by how the hell they constructed completely with bamboo poles was really amazing.
Just the best in India? Not fair! Bengaluru T2 is aesthetically the best in the world, no other terminal even comes close, my heart swells with pride each time I fly out. More so because I have not forgotten the ignominy of arriving from abroad in a unwelcoming chaotic terminal greeted by a weird odour crudely reminding you’ve arrived home! But this is a new aspirational Bharat where everything we build must be the best in the world!
The aesthetic is very good but i hope they add more restaurants in the international departure. Also they were not accepting international lounge pass in the international section but was accepted in domestic terminals. Hope that's sorted out soon.
Please do promote air india. It's our airline. We should be proud of it

Good afternoon dear Kripal - The preview of the airport itself looks stunning . The drive to the airport is quite scenic. Wow the engineered bamboo along with the floating garden is stunning 💯💯💯 Airport security in India is still much better than most other countries that I have visited. Anyways there is a soothing waterfall to take some selfies & pics 👍 I agree whomsoever has done the landscaping would have given ample thought to create such a marvellous airport. A big shout out to Varun . Whoa that’s massive in terms of size ( equivalent to 47 FB fields ) . Nice F&B outlets . Good to understand from the Airport person . Where there is Kripal , there are fans 👍👍 Time for Hot filter coffee ☕️ at Mayas outlet . That’s so awesome of you to shoot Varun having breakfast. Your videographers are the backbone of GOTR . Hi Rajesh, yes, the airport is stunning, in many ways, it is the pride of Bengaluru. And I think much credit has to be also given to the minds that envisioned it over a decade ago and carved out the space for it which makes it possible for the present custodians to build on. T2 is superb, easily on par with the best in the world. I say that as a frequent global traveler. The overall airport ( incl T1) needs improvements and upgrades. Hopefully that will be done. There is a rare but excellent KZhead video with the guy ( local Kannada speaking) horticulture expert who designed, selected, and supervised planting of all the species. Watch it. I hope local schools take advantage of T2 and bring students for an educational trip.

Hi Kripal , good to see you going to the airport even I just love and adore Bangalore airport both the terminals , I also love everything from the road leading to it to the airport terminals , I fell in love with terminal 2 when I landed there first time last July when i was in Bangalore after 4 years . Hope to fly again to Blr in mid if this year ,thanks for this video also would like to ask you kindly if they have now shut down terminal 1 permanently because that is what I heard , meanwhile stay blessed safe healthy always 💝🙏💐

I had a pretty bad experience at Maiyas Restaurant on December 26, 2023. I came to Banglore at 2 a.m from Frankfurt, Germany to catch a flight to Hyderabad. Breakfast/Snack was not given on flight for unknown reason, and I went straight to this place to have breakfast. I had to request them to replace and serve me hot Idly as they served Idly cold.

Everything is fine, except for elevators. Very limited (only one) is provided, that too is small which can accommodate two wheel chairs or one trolley. People have to wait for nearly half an hour to get into the lift.
Kripal cribbing about B rolls!! its nice one a while this foodie guru takes a backseat and lifts the hood on how the magic is made thereby giving us a glimpse into his maniacal strive for excellence!!

Could have made it closer to city lol! And if not closer then atleast some kind of cheaper connectivity😂 Even if the airport is made beautifully, the way to reach there is only roadways, and need to plan way early to reach on time!
Hehe.. true that even i get a chance to explore maiyas during my travel. Thy r charging 550/- for idli vade, and same for masala dosa.

There are new xray machines which are being tested (or completed not sure) out at kial for cabin baggage screening for which u don't have to remove any electronic devices from your bags. Hopefully they will be installed soon. Also full body scanners will be installed if I remember correctly so you don't have to remove belts and shoes.
I've heard of it too, will certainly be a welcome change when that is finally implemented.
High on decoration. Low on utility. That is the summary for T2. No luggage trolley after crossing security point. Tough time for senior citizens, single ladies with kids, pregnant women and senior citizens. While returning, long walk after getting out of aircraft. No places to sit and catch breath if one wants to. After collecting luggage one has to go one level down to reach pickup point. Limited elevators. And another medium distance walk. Public places like airport have to first designed for utility and passenger comfort and then as selfie spots. Here the priority has gone in reverse.
Even in London Heathrow airport trolley wl nt be allowed after security point…
@@amiemohan8578 I was referring to the smaller shopping / hand baggage trolleys. Wrote it differently. The larger trolleys are not needed once the larger luggage is checked in.

I went to Chennai.... recently opened New Chennai international terminal very very beautiful and very good infrastructure... inside Mall... with Five multiplex cinema theatre... lots of....link with Chennai metro station...I like very very much...as a bangaloren...I love Chennai New Chennai international terminal...

Ambience is good. But what about the facilities. The gates did not have enough seating. The toilets are far and few. Water dispensers are even fewer. Passengers need these facilities more than the fancy lights and greenery.

Beautiful airport...however the F and B part is a big let down from a cost point of view...super expensive.. including maiyas .. just imagine paying 700 to 800 rs for a platter of south Indian breakfast ...walked out the minute I saw the menu
One criticism is that they haven't built enough toilet facilities within terminal 2 and the boarding gates. No I am not mocking India. I am a traveler with older parents with bowel issues. It was a nightmare to find toilets. Two toilets located at two ends was almost a nightmare. This has to change.

Arrival area is a big let down..particularly the visitors area with limited seating and food options..poor ambience..the old terminal arrival looked decent
I hated T2 international including the 080 lounge there. One has to walk a LOT and there are hardly any delis or restaurants. The gates are in a different section and are separated from the shops and restaurants by quite a bit of walking distance. Everything is highly impractical! 080 intl lounge is another disaster. They don’t accept Priority pass or intl cards yet. Food options are mediocre. Seating and chairs are very uncomfortable- perhaps to dissuade people from sitting for long hours. But no seats can stop Indians from stretching themselves fully (in the buffet section seating) to take naps between flights.

Sir, On 22-Jan-2024 I had Food At zamindar Restaurant... I ordered 299 Meal. I had just little of Biriyani Rice! And Asked for bill because I Knew food was Unhealthy to have. After 15min leaving from restaurant, i felt like Dieing , Food positioning sensation in my stomach.. Has a responsible indian bengalurian, I am taking my time to write this to You , To let u know the reality.! So that you can take some action on that restaurant., and I urge you to personally test about the restaurant and take Action and remove the Zamindar vedio from ur channel. ALL recent reviews Are Negative.. Tq:) Hope You Take An Action From Your Side... please Help people with This..
