I had to watch a couple times to see how you were riding the one wheel thingie backwards, that was brilliant. The chainsaw snag was also quite impressive. You may not be able to top this video!

  • One nice thing about welding in Arizona is to pre-heat we just put the product outside for an hour and you'll need gloves to pick it up.

  • The "heat the tack while you straighten the joint" trick is slick! I'm going to add that to my bag of tricks. I don't think I'm going to buy a chainsaw for cutting aluminum however.

    • I think great aluminium filler wire quality added with good cleaning before weld. If your part is clean, you can have a good weld without impurities ;)

  • What a nice aluminum welding job! Not many these days it seems that can weld aluminum so cleanly, Ha half the kids today can't weld that "weld" period it seems lol! I wonder how much that mobile truck setup goes for LOL my gawd!

  • I could be wrong but for me welding thin walled small diameter tubing is thr hardest thing to weld it seems. With the radius very small it's very hard to work the puddle around it. But I haven't done a ton of welding either just some small things.

    • At 14:27 ... It's called "Plasti-Dip" and comes in both dip cans and spray cans. Intended as a product to repair/replace handles on pliers, garden equipment etc. Available at Harbour Freight, Lowes, Home Depot etc. (I am not affiliated in any way to this product, video, or stores mentioned.)
