I disagree at 7:30 to return the children back to the family that they came from because we don’t know if something else wicked is in the minds of those parents.
We all have "defects" that shouldn't "ear mark" us for death by the "community". The pastor is doing good work by creating a "safety net" for the unfortunate victims. Education and improved healthcare for women and children are the answer. What are the LGA authorities doing?
Hard to understand why adults do this to a child, but is their belief, the communities need education about the matter. The government is aware but not coming forth. I pray for every single person involved! 🙏 Interesting, they can later be returned to family

Mary Slessor work was mainly in southern Nigeria. These tribe obviously was never affected
@@DavidNkwa the "education" system needs to be re-examined. I read about Mary Slessor whilst I was in England outside of class. I would say most people in the south know about Usman Dan Fodio, but his "exploits" were mainly focused on Northern and Central Nigeria.

Same thing was happening to blind and or lame kids. Then there was schools/orphanages for them. I would have thought that the superstitious practices would have ended by now. Sadly not yet. Thanks for shining a light on this.
