Welcome to the Creative Suite Tutorials KZhead Channel! In this video, we will be walking you through the process of importing assets in CapCut. If you are not familiar with the CapCut interface, we suggest you check out our previous video for an overview.
As we begin our tutorial, we will open up the CapCut software and access the project we created in our previous video. From there, we will import our assets by linking to the folder where we have saved our footages and audio tracks.
We will demonstrate how to import a single video and show you how to trim it and bring it into the timeline. We will also explore the split tool, which is used for cutting extra parts from a video.
We will then show you how to separate the audio from the video and edit it separately. Next, we will import additional footages and an audio track and add them to the timeline.
We will also demonstrate how to delete unwanted audio and add new audio tracks to the timeline. Finally, we will give you a preview of the timeline and the videos we imported.

  • Bro, Need help. Made a short video with some clips and also added text to each clip. Exported normally as well as compound clip. But on importing, both the clips showing as single clip. Want to see them separately and text also separately. What mistake I have done. Will be grateful as could not find any answer on web.

    • Once you export something, either multiple clips or single clip with text, they are exported as single clip. So if you import them again, you will get a single video clip.

    • Unfortunately, you can't edit it again. One way is to create all effects and compound clips in the master project. In this way you can edit the compound clips at any time.
