Medical workers of Kherson region. De-occupation

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, almost the entire territory of the Kherson region was temporarily occupied by russian troops. The town of Novovorontsovka and the villages around it were right on the front line. The battles for the right bank of the Kherson region lasted more than 6 months.
Broken villages, mined fields, destroyed schools and kindergartens, and damaged hospitals have become the new reality of local communities.
However, all this time, Kherson Region doctors did not stop caring for their patients for a single day. It was medicine that was the first thing that was restored in the Novovorontsovske community.
This film is the second in a series about russian crimes against Ukraine's healthcare system. It is about the work of doctors during the occupation, the shelling and its consequences. It is also about the important help they provide to patients.
We would like to thank the team of the Ukrainian Healthcare Center (UHC) for their help in creating the film, as they have been documenting and collecting evidence of the attacks since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
