How about a Boss Cop Enemy that will be marked on the map and has insane amount of health, you have to get a group of people to take him out. And when you hit it you automatically get Heat 5 and get a big reward for taking him out. If you try to solo it and you crash out his health resets, and his health slowly refills so you cant just cheese it with some BS tactics.

I love need for speed but was confused when there was no cops so this is fire
I actually liked the way heat handled cops better than unbound. The cops in nfs heat give you the feeling that there is actually a big risk in dying or getting busted. In this game it just doesn't give me that same feeling.
In heat they were annoying tho. You can't fight them, so you just run away or avoid them

would be cool if they added a risk system like in heat - the money from taking out cops goes into a seperate pool and you only get that as usable money when you escape or get back to a garage, while retaining the heat level until you get safe
I think this will come in real handy as in if a player has the cops on them, you have two options. Option one being you can help the pursuing driver. Or option two being if you need takedown challenges done, this will come into play.please leave feed back would appreciate opinions 😊

Need to play as the cop's online like rivals. maybe a cop dlc storyline add on where you have to take down some of the characters from the single player and then online you use the car selection which you have to collect and take down players in events and include ai cars in free roam like rivals.

I really liked in Heat how you beep the horn a few times to begin the chase while you can still keep your car pristine until the cops hit you like how I think correct me if I'm wrong, like how it's considered an offence to cops in real life. I'd like that back in Unbound.

Risk could be higher if the car get impounded if you get caught (Or like most wanted 2005 impound after 3 strikes) and after its impound, player needs to pay fee to get it out of impound.

Try with Get away driver auxiliary. Makes them aggressive and spawn like mad. They also seem to keep up very well and that's me driving an S tier car. Seems that without the auxiliary they are kinda easy. Idk could be me. But I had a blast. They have many options to goe ith online cops. They are fun to mess with but we want Bigger risks.

The update is cool but the cops are a huge letdown. Not having anything to lose from them while being out and not having them in races feels like a huge miss bc we had it in heat. Money you get from the chases and helping friends is pitiful too.
Not to mention losing all your heat if your escaping within 60 seconds. Why aren’t we keeping our heat super high until we go back in the garage? Shame
Thing with heat is that you can basically earn all the money first in the daylight, then do all police chases at night. Furthermore, police chases in Heat sucks at daylight since it will take a very long time to get heat 2. Meanwhile in Unbound, progress for SP and MP are separate, meaning you'll need to grind hard in MP, as well as complete a lot of races/tasks in order to unlock other cars. What they could have done better? - Basically implement how the heat/police system works in SP (retaining heat level during session), while allowing players to initiate police chases by themselves. - Implement Heat's gameplay where your SP and MP progress are tied in, then implement Unbound's SP heat/police system (without earning heat in races) The rest of the system they implemented are good enough in my opinion, esp. the ability to help other players.
There is an amount in which you do lose with the police. Now I'm not too sure if you do lose money when racing other players. Haven't tested. If you put the "Get away driver" Auxiliary it makes them very aggressive and nonstop spawn. Like I was running an S tier car, but they were Hella trying to destroy me. Roadblocks and spikes also were somewhat common

It will be interesting if they added a new gamemode called "hideout" where you must escape the police within X amount of time, the best time gets the most amount of money,, 30k for first place, 20k second place, 5k for third place, and for anyone that didn't make top 3, will be given 1k for at least participating in the gamemode. However, make the AI more difficult in this gamemode compared to the freeroam. Make them more aggressive towards the player, not sure how aggressive people would want. NFS Heat level of difficulty in this gamemode, or less difficult, but at least be more difficult than the average freeroam police in this game.

All we need for the cops now is for them to scale with however many people have joined your chase. Just more cops and shorter reinforcement times would be perfect.

I think the way they can add cops in online races without annoying those that dont want people bringing cops into races is by including a variation of 'Heat Locked' races. It's already in Unbound's single player, they can certainly make it work. Only difference they'd have to make is so that you won't need to build up heat to enter these races. But once you're in, you'll get cops in races basically. Players don't want cops in their races can simply avoid these playlists if they so wish. Should be a simple fix if they're not doing anything else about this.

I stop playing single player once I got the information nun of my progress will carry except for the collectibles and the cops yes they are part of the reason i stop campaign I compete one race then I jus gotta avoid cops that just keep popping up then the undercover cops omg I be right there at a race cop 🤦🏽♂️
Gamemode idea that they could make. Its something like infection, like 5-10 racers try to aurvive the cops. But when you get arrested or destroyed you become a cop. The last racer alive wins🏆. What do you think?

I feel like these cops will get boring quickly. There should be some type of milestone that will give the chase a purpose like in most wanted 05, and there will be tiers to the milestone where harder ones will provide better thing. They could even throw in things like u said cop lights or accessory for the hard milestone to get players a better feeling for it. The milestone however will be progressive for example tale down 5 Corvette $1000 25 $30000 50 lights and 100 the car body etc I guess like the challenge series if u want it in simpler terms.

They should have player cops and player cops will have their own garages with police tech and the same car lists the racers have and they should bring back losing cars and add extra cop mode where you play as cop it would be just more fun cops are what half of need for speed is and we can’t even play as them rivals had the right idea but terribly implemented but the idea of giving the players the choice of joining either the police department or become a racer should be default option in need for speed games

Didn't Heat had online cops at launch? And at races too? Why are they not in races in this game?
People complained about it. Plus other players would bring heat 5 to races which annoyed people. Me personally don't care. I want them to be in races. It's the first update. They very well can bring it in.

The helicopter in single player are just easy to escape from it’s no longer a challenge anymore
They have to buff the cops in Unbound Online. They are the easiest cops ever it feels like. There isn’t anything scary or intimidating about them at all, no risk or whatever. Make the cops faster and smarter, and why do they need to fallback for fuel? That is so boring. I miss the 10+ cops chasing you at once. We need the intensity back in cop chases, we need the need for speed. The cop chases now I’m barley going 120mph and I’m losing them so I start doing burnouts mid chase just so they can catchup to me and hopefully get more than 2 cops on me at once. Oh yeah, and add cops to races!
THEY FIXED THE EASY MONEY CHEAT!!!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-Fffffuuuu-FffffffuuuuuuuUUU. No more parking under that bridge to lose the cops. Gotta use the tunnel or the L-Train now.
