Nothing to do with bad luck…he has always been poor finisher and squandered more chances over the yearsHis ego made him take the penalty and had he scored he would have revelled in the glory… pretty much everyone knew he would bottle it …so he needs to suck up the justified criticism!

I think Rodrigo didn’t want to take the penalty. I assume if Raphinha was here, he would’ve wrestled the ball out the hands of Bamford. I also don’t believe Bamford really wanted to take that penalty. It’s a massive amount of pressure, so as disappointed as I am with the save and the penalty, I do commend his courage. Still, not the result we wanted or deserve.
