239 tackles ye made in this game. That defines defiance in my eyes as an Irishman. In such a way that I'm absolutely impressed with ye. Ye even had me on the edge for a minute there after the Jones try, but we were able to close it out. Make no mistake though. This was not a cakewalk as some of us thought. This was real grit shown on both sides.

Really. The minnows playing in a league can't be construed as the best league. The real test is the RWC where the men get separated from the boys. May I remind u that only England have won a RWC No. One else ftom the minnows league has ever done so. Even with a draw that suited them last year.

Firstly, congratulations to Scotland who threw everything at Ireland, almost blew it at the end when Harry Byrne was carded, but we prevailed. They should be proud of a strong performance. But despite being back to back champions which makes me proud as an Irish man, Italy have truly stolen my heart. What a team, what passion, to keep going and never stop believing. They are building slowly and will one day become a force. So congratulations to the Azzuri on a strong 6 nations finish. 2025 is looking competitive

For me, while Scotland should be frustrated after losing, one thing is for sure. Beating them comfortably will be taking a backseat for many years after this game, because this was a true example of a Test match, one where they romped up in Dublin and could very well have spoiled the whole party, not to mention winning their first Triple Crown in over 30 years. They pushed us to the end, and while I will enjoy this victory, no doubt this game will set up much more of the same caliber going forward.

I'm just saying, that second Ireland try was very unconvincing. I thought they got it at first, but they showed a replay a few minutes after the conversion and if you ask me, it almost definitely didn't touch the ground. Still a great game though glad ireland won

Deserved winners this year, but I fear we have seen 'peak' Ireland and they won't be world beaters any time soon. U20s are decent and Leinster/Munster still very good but not tearing up trees. Also - no more "3 year kiwis" (or any other nationality) going forward and let's be honest, the Gibson-Park/Ake/ Lowe trio have been the spine of the backline. It's a pity - I think it will be back to the Boks , All Blacks, France and England quartet as the Wallabies are nowhere and Scotland/Wales/Argentina and Italy can't only win 'one offs' from time to time.

Deserved win and championship, even though the grand slam was within reach and would have been great, fantastic to see an up and down championship with everyone beating each other it seemed. Two observations after just watching all today’s matches- a lot of inconsistency from referees at the ruck and lineout; some refs give an immediate penalty for a player trapped in a ruck, others say you’re trapping him so play on; in the lineout, one ref asks how many in the lineout, another ref asks who’s the receiver. Does anyone know why this is? Seems to even confuse the players? Apart from that, great end with super Saturday and the best team (just about!) won 🏆 A happy saint Patrick’s weekend alright 🍻🍀

A better game plan, but the same old mistakes from the same players, I appreciate we are not blessed with lots of great players to pick from, everyone knows we play thru Finn who I think never had one decent game the whole Championship, plus points our defence was very good, with some very good performances stand out Christie, bad points our decision making leaves a lot to be desired, like throwing to the tail 5 metres from your own try line? how did that work out!

For me, while Scotland should be frustrated after losing, one thing is for sure. Beating them comfortably will be taking a backseat for many years after this game, because this was a true example of a Test match, one where they romped up in Dublin and could very well have spoiled the whole party, not to mention winning their first Triple Crown in over 30 years. They pushed us to the end, and while I will enjoy this victory, no doubt this game will set up much more of the same caliber going forward.

Deserved winners this year, but I fear we have seen 'peak' Ireland and they won't be world beaters any time soon. U20s are decent and Leinster/Munster still very good but not tearing up trees. Also - no more "3 year kiwis" (or any other nationality) going forward and let's be honest, the Gibson-Park/Ake/ Lowe trio have been the spine of the backline. It's a pity - I think it will be back to the Boks , All Blacks, France and England quartet as the Wallabies are nowhere and Scotland/Wales/Argentina and Italy can't only win 'one offs' from time to time.

Deserved win and championship, even though the grand slam was within reach and would have been great, fantastic to see an up and down championship with everyone beating each other it seemed. Two observations after just watching all today’s matches- a lot of inconsistency from referees at the ruck and lineout; some refs give an immediate penalty for a player trapped in a ruck, others say you’re trapping him so play on; in the lineout, one ref asks how many in the lineout, another ref asks who’s the receiver. Does anyone know why this is? Seems to even confuse the players? Apart from that, great end with super Saturday and the best team (just about!) won 🏆 A happy saint Patrick’s weekend alright 🍻🍀
