  • Hello Angus and everyone else. Watching your videos got me to buy my first 3D printer. Got it yesterday, and of course the only thing i could do for my first print was the MM stress test. Had to restart it 3 time after it completed about 5%. Because of all ive learned here and on 3D PN i was able to troubleshoot early and solved the probleme i was having. Wish i could show a picture of the result, apart from the bottom layer that fused on the 0.15 and 0.2 (wich was easily fixed after the print) it came out perfect and that was on 200US printer. Next print "Easter torture egg" Keep up the great work, thanks for everything.

  • Great work, Angus. I do think that as a challenge to you, and as a way to make the puzzle more accessible, an unlock or alternate disassembly mechanism could be devised (pulling the inner wall in, causing the ball to drop, for instance). Unless your magnetic approach is fairly straight forward.

  • I got it open after about 3 days of messing with it off and on. Maybe 30 minutes of actual time spent on it. I did have an example of the puzzle to look at to understand where the ball needed to go. So that was and advantage.

  • Hear me out, you should try printing 2040 extrusion beams and attach them to the existing machine, essentially printing the printer longer (you could also try the z screw). Ive tried it on an ender 3 and it somehow worked, and I now have a 300mm tall z axis.
