Honestly I teared up about the guy who had Type 1 diabetes and his friend with heart problems, also some of the things that the toxic people said to you acting as a kid was really hurtful :(. Seeing the girls as well shows how siege and the online community makes people feel unwanted

i haven't watched the whole way through yet, I paused at 2:06 because my heart is melting at the people sticking up for you. As a female in siege this is very similar to what I deal with.
Other female player here, yes I know you commented a year ago. These videos hit a weird spot for me since I got some serious threats for giving callouts as a female. Siege is just so toxic.
Same, siege is so toxic so I avoid it most of the time but when my sister plays with me I enjoy it because we can go to party
I quit siege because of toxicity. I have ADHD and autism and the amount of bullying and just pure toxic people is a joke.

@@hitmanss59 alright if you wanna be a dick about it I’ll explain. Yumi was coming on too strong too quickly and coconut was playing too well. Most toxic experiences I have in rainbow (level 392 btw) happen progressively more as the game goes on. Yumi immediately being toxic made him unrelatable and his teammates saw him as the problem. Coconut carrying the team made his teammates want to defend him to get the win. So again, if Yumi toned it down and coconut was always bottom fragging the community would join with Yumi against coconut for sure.

I have kind of a squeaky voice naturally so when I see this it makes me sad when I see some toxic people but when i also see the people defending coco from yumi is so nice.
Use a voice changer to pretend that you're a girl and see if they're going to tell you to wash the dishes or maybe play the stove or something

@@TidaliCreative Ikr, once I joined a random squad that I met in a casual on PS4, and it was a 4 stack, then we queued a casual and the random was a girl, one of the guys in the stack started team killing her and tell her to play cook instead of games, etc. everyone was laughing at the asshole, then I waited patiently for them to gather all together in some small room, I don't remember exactly which map was that, but they all gathered in a small room of the map and I blew everyone up with a C4, I got a 30 minutes ban but it was worth it, then the girl invited me to a party and she said she was thankful for what I had done and she sent me a friend request, I remember that as if were yesterday, these kind of guys don't deserve to play.

I don't even solo this game anymore because I've had way too many people tell me I should go back to the kitchen or that the reason I suck is because I'm female. When I was younger, like, 3 years ago when I started to play Siege, my voice was really pitched, and every single match I tried to help someone by giving callouts, either in ranked or casual matches, I got tkd/kicked off the match. EVEN IN RANKED MATCHES THEY TKD ME. That's how toxic the console (or at least PlayStation community) is.
The Asian seige community atleast till date have been one of the most welcoming and kind to me

I agree that the siege community can be really great and really nice people, when I started playing 4 seasons ago that was 100% the case I was supported my whole way through learning hey I'm still learning and being taught by the community. but what's sad is recently the game has been flooded with just horrible narcissistic and especially racist people and this is just so disappointing to see, if there is in this case a kid they so often get outright attacked used for their unknowingness e.g things like the goyo tk trap so so so common in low ranks. I still have such high hopes for the future of this game but these things are just so disappointing to see hear and experience first hand especially as a not very good player like myself. But seeing people like Coconut Brah and Yumi doing amazing things for this community and game and having such a positive impact on it all makes me so happy to see and keeps me and others playing. Props to anyone who read this whole thing 👍

Dude this is kind of relatable (without any acting) because me being a 12 yr old just wanting to play newcomers on siege every 1 in 5 matches there is gonna be that 1 person that messages me to shut up because of my callouts. Or I get grouped up with a guy or 2 who are chill and wanna actually play.
