    • i sorta agree with your overall fight, light heavyweights are huge now (spann, johnny walker, jiri, etc.), but while jones beat some former champs who were middleweights before, a lot of the guys he fought were legit light heavyweights (rampage, rashad, gustafsson, cormier, teixeira, bader, reyes...)

    • @@cynic2202 Not really. People actually give Jon too much credit. Fighting with eyepokes, low blows and dirty tactics in every single fight is weird along with drugs and etc. His biggest win is a 5.10 DC with an 72 reach who had to cut 40 pounds making 205 while Jon was a head taller at 6.4-6.5 with an 84.5 reach advantage. Like I said, during his absolute best in 2011-2017/2018, he fought mostly smaller opponents in comparison with the new era where he wouldn't much of a height and reach advantage...

    • @@alcottdevalte7440 yes, we all know how height is so important, that's why alexander volkov was the heavyweight champ... also, 2nd gustafsson fight wasn't close at all. jones' fight with santos was close and santos was a former middleweight. your one point about the size of light heavyweights was kinda valid (even though again, jones beat plenty of legit light heavyweights), but downplaying jones' wins bc he fought some guys shorter than him is dumb
