You’d be surprised with how many Korean men are ok with skin. A lot of them are actually not that different from American men. And yes this is from my experiences of being friends with Korean men. Times have changed their a lot with the younger generation, not so much the old.

Belly dance originated in Egypt and then spread throughout the Arab countries, and as an Egyptian, IM SO PROUD LMAOO. Even though this dance is common where I live, it feels so new and refreshing when I see people from other countries perform or take part in it! Also, can we all agree that Beungeun is pure GOLD?

I liked Seungwoo’s dancing the most. He had the best isolation of movement of the 3 of them. His shimmy was smaller than Heejae but more precise. And his upper body shoulder and arms were exceptionally good. The belly dancer shown them only one basic type move, that was the hip lift. To do it correctly is not as simple as it seems.
Ikr, he has some good basics for a good shimmy. His snake-arms were pretty good too even if they were a little fast

Belly dancing was popularized by the golden age of cinema in Egypt 40’s - 80’s. It is originally a gypsy tradition, not Arab.
@@radiowhatsnew idk if yk this but the typical image of a gypsy was found in Arab countries and most primarily Egypt so it is an Egyptian/Arab tradition, and it’s also the national dance of Egypt.

Im so happy that shes shaped the way a traditional belly dancer is. There is supposed to be a belly to shake ❤️❤️❤️ most Korean belly dancers I've seen have been really skinny, and theres nothing wrong with that, but its truly not necessary. You dont need to have abs if you wanna wear the outfit, which it seems like many people believe.
As a belly dancer myself i find it refreshing to see beginners try it cuz I’ve been doing bellydance for about 7 years now (I’m 21) n it makes me remember the old days 🤣🤣

Ah, this reminds me of when I was learning how to belly dance in college. It was so wonderful. Sadly, my health made me stiff so I couldn't do it anymore. I am enjoying seeing everybody having a blast though. So much fun, chaotic energy.
In my opinion, Seungwoo was the best, because he isolated every movement, so when he moved his hips shaking them he didn't shake his shoulders or arms (and even did the right way, even though the bellydancer didn't teach them) and when he did the hip accent he kept his body still and only moved the hips. Really awesome 👍🏼
Byungeun was so cute this episode!!!! Seungwoo and Heejae really are amazing dancers! They should do another episode about modeling or something to let Byungeun shine!!! Love you guys

she's a good teacher!! Even though she was teaching in Korean and the instructions are translated, it was easy to pick up. I tried learning in other channels, but i still move my shoulders. With her, I easily understood hip movement

@@user-gm9kj2wb9t bro i have been learning belly dancing from 6 and ALL the ppl on the internet that do belly dancing are ALL diff races trust me we love when other ppl pick up the practise we dont gatekeep and are super nice i have seen russains,indians,chinese,koreans,austrailians,americans,mexicans etc. Pick up the dance it isnt anything to gatekeep its a beutiful form of art that is sexualised and not well known pls stop
Belly dance is an awesome art! since I started to practice two years ago I learned to love my body and I also become stronger than I used to be I really fall in love with this art.
My great grandma was a belly dancer, but IDK for how long. Every once in a while we'll look at her pictures and costumes.
Oh, that's a dance you can practice during a long time. One of the dance teachers of the association, where I take my dance lessons, retired two years ago and she was more than 60 years old

I'm a belly dancer since I was 7, and watching their awsome remainds me the first day I started in this world. Now that I have 21 I'm really happy that I decided to get involved
They did really well! Heejae got all of the moves quickly, Seungwoo was really good at the isolations and his hips really moved, it was well done, and ofc his arms were great, and Byungeun, despite it being his first time trying to learn dance in general especially belly dance, learned and corrected his mistakes quickly, even within this short video I could see him improving. This was really funny to watch lol

Byungeun had been wearing layers and layers of clothes so far that seeing him as the thinnest and straight bodied male today felt strange. Definitely a model. And lol so far he had been naturally funny by his candid expressions and reactions but today he went all-in comedian 😂. He just gave up on protecting his image. He realised he must do this nmw.
I just started learning belly dancing 2 months ago. It's really hard! But also really cool! We have a great teacher. She doesn't teach just the moves, but also the terminology, explains different styles in dancing and music (traditional and modern)...I think it's a great way to get your body fit and strong. It makes it work. I enjoy it very much! 😊💃

Is this cultural appropriating your culture at all? There's a girl commenting that it's "Cultural appropriating my culture" on EVERY single positive comment I see and then arguments occur. I believe you all have different views on this topic but I just don't understand if it is actually cultural appropriating since I don't know the history.
Ignore that person, they’re just trying to get attention. There is literally nothing wrong with learning a dance and listening to music from another culture. You don’t have to be of a certain blood to enjoy parts of their culture. Sharing culture is how we’ve always learned about each other and how are we supposed to be more open and tolerant towards different culture if we strike anyone down who has an interest in another culture?
