When I was younger I was crazy about Marie. I was front and center at a concert and gave her roses. At the end of the concert, when they were walking off the stage, she stopped, turned around, locked eyes with me, and walked straight over to me and placed her guitar pick in my hand. I've always said that was the best concert experience anybody could ever have.

- Roxette was the very first concert I ever went to. I was 17, and that was 30 years ago. Time sure flies! Appreciate all the concerts you can. Most artists don't perform/tour for long. Enjoy as many of the moments you're able to.

- So you...never cried over "somebody"....who died? And doesn't 'exist' anymore? Especially if that "someone" possibly gave you an unforgettable memory? Whether knowing them or not? Of course 'be happy she existed.' But we...are not robots; we're "human." And "some" humans usually cry....when somebody....'doesn't exist' anymore of whom gave them either an enormous joy, or just a scintilla.... I cried. Over losing Marie. I am human. (I am not knocking your post, Janka). Could you imagine acquiring brain cancer at only 44 & yet doing concerts for 17 years sans knowing when she'd succumb to her dreadful illness. Falling on stage from being blind in one eye; but getting right back up.... Marie was a real Trooper. Imagine the day & nightmare she'd went through? Until she succumbed to it here on Earth on Dec-9-19. On Dec-10-19----The Almighty took Marie unto his Kingdom....

- Yeah fuck cancer. I had a bout with it a few years ago. My 2nd round of chemo a girl maybe 20 came in and sat across the room from me. Really hated to see that man. Really bothered me for a long time. I hope she came out of it ok.

- U R right! I feel so sad watching her video in 2009. She wore all white and sat down while singing/performing. I noticed at one point, she lost her breath but quickly regained to continue to sing. You can even see her eyes had to close for a moment. I have severe illness so I understand what's she's going through.

our Dog the BEEGS when he first heard this song....out of a deep sleep awakened and started to howl with a depth and with his every emotion. We loved showing him sing this song to all our family and vets. Then suddenly on 3/27/24 We lost our 6 yr. old Beagle Baily. We are devastated by this sudden death. He was sick inside and somehow we missed his tiredness as something else. Now he is gone and this song is his legacy. We know now why he loved this song because the words are his song to us, his mom n dad after he dies. Even down to where his ashes will be laid, "Where the wind blows and the water flows." Underneath a lil bridge in the Bighorn Mts with his sweet 'sister' Grace. We lost her just 7 mo. ago as well. Very very sad and this song says it all. Thank you Roxette. Baily saw your spirit in this song was of great heartbreak. Now we sing this song and Remember our Beagle Baily.
