Hello I'm tomosteen.
The Lego food I am making in this video is Katsudon, a delicious Japanese dish of pork cutlet gently wrapped in egg and Japanese soup stock and served on a bowl of rice.
What I make after the katsudon is an instant miso soup.
Thank you for watching my video.
The little details of the egg yolk turning to longer pieces and the sway of the liquid just amazing! This makes me so happy.
Thank you😆
Right? The logic of physics is very hard to replicate in stop motion but they nailed it.
I adore the slosh whenever an egg is cracked! It's so realistic and beautifully done.
I was just about to comment this!

@@grimmkin3741 Well , we don't !
A very minor thing I love is the proper cooking and prepping techniques. Like it tooks me weeks if not months to get proper knife skills and seeing the curled fingers just made my night
You succeeded at persuading me to eat plastic.
Underrated comment
Please tell me you didn't
Yummy
It’s the little details like the sound effects, the cats, and the shape of the legos you use that honestly make each and every one of these videos no less than a masterpiece. I know these take long to create, but all that effort makes the videos on your channel stand out as the embodiment of “quality over quantity”
As you said, quality over quantity is my most important sentiment. Thank you😻
Reading this in Vader's voice gave me a longer lifespan
So much quality it's a quantity of its own.
Never knew Darth Vader was based.
The joy I feel whenever one of these is uploaded is unmatched
Thanks for waiting for my video.😻
Same! I always adore watching these videos. We're in the presence of stop-motion greatness!
Same!
I agree
ain’t got nothing on PES though
The transitions from legos into real objects or vice versa are seamless. Like the lego piece turning into the knife and the real rice turning into lego rice. So clean.
The rice was one of my favorite parts! 🤩
@@jessicarobertson5636same here. One of my favorite Parts was the onion cutting.

The saddest part about this video is the fact that legos are not meant to be consumed😔
Fr
But what is more sad is that this must take weeks, days or even months for one 5 min video
Nah the saddest part is watching this at 1 am and not having food with you
It’s stopped motion he doesn’t actually eat it
3:20 I love how they turned into sword pieces. That is creative is leaving in awe. What a wonderful video.
I like to think that he makes the real recipe along the way when using the actual ingredients so they don’t go to waste. Honestly this is so amazing, I used to make stop motions myself but even in 10 years I don’t think I’ll ever be this good!!! Oof I had a hard time trying not not have my mouth water over how delicious this could look like in real life, and I literally just ate an hour ago lol.

I have watched this a couple times and I’m still amazed by the whole scene with the egg. Especially the egg breaking up with the chopstick running through it. I don’t know how you got stop motion movement of the hand & chopstick so smooth, but it’s really impressive.
The fact that you can see the batter turning yellow to orange just befoer it turns brown is amazing. Almost better than real food.
I used to absoloutely ADORE these stop motion lego videos. I always watched them and now that I've come back to them, I can see why
the oamount of detail you put in these is so so stunning. I want to note the little leftover lego piece in the brown squeeze packet - wonderful!
Thank you!
And the slight spill when the katsudon is placed over the rice. Fantastic touch!
I... am enthralled. Didn't know Lego stop motion/asmr even existed, didn't know I needed this in my life. It was magnificent. I am changed.
Me too 😅🎉😢😅❤
The sound effects and the effort put into this just to make it perfect, we should be grateful that there are at least some people in this world that take their time to make other people happy 😊❤
I love the cats, the raccoon, and all the other little animals randomly scampering around on his counter or watching him cook. It’s such a random thing, but it’s so cute
Theres a special place in animator heaven for anyone who does stop motion animation. This is one of the most unique stop motion videos I have ever seen! Simply in love with how all the food "transforms" into the lego pieces! 🙂
I like the jazz line at the end like "This stop motion animation was filmed in front of a live studio audience"
3:20 YOU USED LITTLE LEGO KATANAS THAT IS SOOO CUTE!! 😁❤️
Can we just appreciate this masterpiece? I love your videos keep it up!
Thank you!!😻
you are very nice say that about this channel!

It is one of the most popular dishes in Japanese cuisine, along with sushi, sukiyaki, and gyudon. Tonkatsu (originally from the French dish courtette, but pork is more commonly used in Japan). Eggs are generally served half-boiled.
I absolutely LOVE these Lego stop motion videos! They are always so satisfying to watch!
I didn't know what I was expecting when i saw this on my recommended but this was beautifully done and the quality of the cooking sounds were the icing on the cake

Love how you turned the meat thing that you used at the beginning of the video into a knife
That transition between meat hammer thing to onion peeler to knife was just amazing
I always love all the little details
The way the tools changed was so stylish! And the ingredients are more detailed as well! Thank you for making this!
Thank you too for watching my videos and commenting!😊
Isn't it impressive, the way he makes those transitions so seamless?
I can't tell what to love more...the stop motion or the little animals in the background!
I am just amazed at the level of detail you put in. My goodness! This must have taken hours and hours to do! Thank you for your hard work...I am truly delighted at your videos.
Didn't even notice that. Pretty cool.

I came across this video a couple of times in my recommended. I’ve been going through a rough patch lately, so tonight I decided to watch it. It gave me the biggest smile I made all day, for 4 whole minutes. Thank you for making this ❤
It’s crazy how this guy can and will get me drooling for a bunch of Legos that resemble food
how are you drooling its literally plastic?
@@salmonn8484 I have no idea.
I love how smoothly all of the animals just move and peek in! It’s adorable and amazing! Keep it up, your doing great!

I love how when he chopped the herbs (that green grass looking thing i forgot what it’s called lol) it turned into little swords! So creative!!!
Using green Katanas is for the fern with such a good idea. Like, I would never thought of that.

The amount of patience of making this is off the chart!!! I love the tiny details of the animal friends!!!
The fact that he has the real food, but it turns into Lego because you’re interacting with it is so creative of you.
The egg yolk mixing scene is probably the best stop motion Ive ever seen
I’m a tad new to this channel, I found it last week, and I love it! I don’t know what it is, but it’s AMAZING! I can tell how much work and effort you put into these vids. So yeah, thanks for reading!

@@hyliadreamer I know! When I found this channel I binge watched most of his videos LOL
Never did i think that lego swords could be used like that
Amazing attention to detail. When the real onion came out, it was like I was 5 years old again. Was excited to see if it would turn Lego, and it did! This must take you a long time to create, from concept to editing, so Thank You for creating. Enjoyable!
I absolutely love the whole knife transforming sequence! Beautiful
Taking the rice from the rice cooker was probably my favorite. So seamless
this is amazing
😊
No doubt!
Agreed
Yuh
This is absolutely amazing! For those of you who haven’t done stop motion, it’s extremely difficult. So, getting this level of detail is astonishing. Great job!
The animation on that egg mixing is truly top notch, good job on every single one of these.
this is beyond genius. I know it's all stop motion, but it's very difficult to actually spot it most times.... also that onion scene was incredibly amazing...
I love the fact that u see the cats, and this video warms me up ♡ 3:26 I see green knifes! My tongue is gonna hurt when I eat that𖧷 And this video feels so real!𓃠
I LOVE the cozy feel and look that the cooking environment gives. It feels so real! Subcribing.
I love the little swords that resulted from cutting up the parsley lol
While Im not typically a fan of ASMR videos, the stop animation in this is phenomenal.
I enjoyed watching this so much that halfway through the video I decided to watch it at half speed so I could fully appreciate all your little tricks and animal friends moving.
Bruh this guy should get a raise! He deserves his very own movie. What a legend.
I found this randomly, and I feel so happy right now 😊
i've been really into lego cooking videos recently, and yours are always such a treat to watch. the egg cracking in this video is one of the smoothest i've seen from any lego cooking channel so far! the sounds of cutting the pork were also very pleasing.
i do not understand the magic behind these videos but i am in awe. especially the liquids! and the egg cracking and then getting to watch the yolk swirl in the bowl... this whole concept is so cool.
I used to be obessed with stop motion Lego cooking videos. They're so well done!
Now I'm craving pork cutlet, this is incredible!

seeing the tenderizer turn into a Lego gate or something and then into a knife was very satisfying for me this video Is very satisfying
3:45 I love the detail of the sachet still having a bit of paste in it.
This is absolutely amazing. The detail in this video is off the charts!!

So good. This is true art. I watch this like once every 6 months
Scooping the rice out with the spoon was so satisfying 😋
Impressive. I really like the little cat just wandering around.
You are just so talented, it’s so relaxing and literally so smooth. Been subbing for about 7 months now keep up the amazing work!🍱
Thank you😸
Genius use of the LEGO katanas! Would never have thought of those!
The lil kitties is one of my favorite parts 🥺 and the duck oml
Randomly discovering this video with my Japanese husband, who started screaming (It’s miso soup!!!). Such an amazing and fun video.

I love the hard work you've put in, the cinematography, the ASMR (which is some of the most satisfying sounds I've ever heard) and attention to detail (the coriander stalks = green pirate cutlasses!) ... But also the cats 💚💚💚
The sound, color, texture. Litteral ✨PERFECTION✨

Let's just appreciate how much work was put into this.
Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Everytime I see your latest videos I still can't get over how smooth everything is and how creative you get with these. Brilliantly done sir :D
Thank you😻
The amount of detail work, animation, and stop motion put into this is insane! Amazing work as always and thank you for sharing. ♥
My kiddos are obsessed. This is part of there bed time routing. Thanks. ❤
Stopped my geography homework to watch this ASMR video. Worth it
Simply amazing. The oil in the pan, the flames from the stove, all the fluids.... wow. And gotta love the raccoon assistant and the feline cheerleaders.
This is a film masterpiece 10/10! I can't imagine how long this took! And the effort you put into it and not giving up! Even the most minor details are amazing!
I'd ask why this makes my mouth water more than real food but I think it's because this is satiating a hunger deep in my soul
I am using the internet since probably 2002, so it's old news. Very rare that a youtube video makes me just sit there looking at it with my mouth open, completely captivated. And this did that. I sat there, watching it, with my mouth open, completely captivated. Good work man, like, god damn.
😹
Didn't know it was even possible, but your creations are getting better and better! That's a masterpiece, sir! I love it! :D
