@@scottishlad7497 Yes ! Totally agree. All the action with Carnage was pretty cool, but I was mostly just interested in more Eddie and Venom interaction. BTW, I like your idea that it should have been made into a series ! I can’t get enough of their random domestic shenanigans, like Venom helping Eddie solve murders, making him waffles and throwing out the TV, or the two climbing buildings, munching on criminals’ brains and getting drunk on that tropical island like a pair of dumbasses… There could be so much more to do with that !

I find it funny the police are mad at Brock for solving the case. Sure he had Symbiote assistance, but Cletus literally drew the exact spot where he hid the bodies. At that point any kind of mocking is earned

Did they forget that investigation was quite literally Eddie's job, and that he was good at it?
Perhaps the writers were thinking - because venom lives in Eddie's body naturally he would take on some of his traits one being Eddie's investigative skills..
Also having a very angsty brain eating creature that lives inside you doesn’t help him with focusing on investigating either. Especially when it could beat his ass too from the inside

Detective Venom doesn’t deserve an Oscar, he deserves his own spin off series for the MCU called “Detective Venom”, a detective for hire called Eddie Brock who’s investigating unsolved/unknown mysteries and using his powers to protect the city. Just like DC have Lucifer, MCU should have Detective Venom.

For being supposedly so devious, it seems pretty dumb on his part to draw a literal picture of where he stashed the bodies in his cell...
