We need more of those on the roads!!!
100% agree
Nice to see Right Hand Drive Electric Buses
Thanks for the comment Right Drive Africa. I agree, sometimes we are forgotten about but Higer buses don't seem to have this time.
I love the plans for wheelchair users, great to hear they’re being thought of during the design process and not just an afterthought. Great review, Derek! I hope we have more of them around Ireland soon!
Thanks for the comment Richard. As you said, great to hear that wheelchair users are being thought of.
Excellent stuff, Derek. When they talk about 375km range...I wonder was it WLTP or their own assessment? Either way, I'm sure it has plenty of range to cover a day's work around most towns and cities.
Hi Blake....great comment and the answer is the mileage is from a full E-Sort real world report and with driver training it can do over 400km...
Thanks for the comment Blake and great that Chris was able to jump in with the actual answer.
In 2019 the large city close to where I live bought 20 BYD electric buses. They were an instant success, the reason why was threefold. First the access ( the older buses had steps to get in so no disabled entry) allowed older people to enter. Second the ride, the roads not being the best were traveled over with ease. Third climate, the inside of the bus did not smell of diesel and came with a very good climate maintenance system. Last usb charging for the passengers and wyfy , I am told that the city have ordered 30 more buses, the city will as the old buses age out they will be replaced with electric buses. Liked the review, keep them coming, thanks
Thanks as always Jodie. Great to hear about your local success and it's a no brainer really isn't it.
Love it! the floating seats are a great idea and your point about the ease of cleaning for operators is bang on. The time to clean is usually very tight so whatever can be done to make this quicker and easier is better. Having been involved in a private coach/bus operator business in the past, I know all too well.
Thanks for the comment Brian. I wish I recorded some footage now ☹️ but such a simple idea.
As buses go. Its a fairly pretty thing. That bell would break my heart though 😂
"As buses go" 😂😂. Secret is keeping it above 20kmph. You'll have to time jumping on and off as a passenger. Would make it exciting.
Good video, now lets get them on the road!
Exactly! Thanks for the comment and feedback Ryan.
Good review. We need a few of these in Jamaica.
Thanks for the comment. Needed everywhere I'd say!
Fair play Derek, another cool review of a very interesting and exciting vehicle. These would transform our cities and towns in a very positive way. I just hope the powers that be are watching and not buying more toxic fossil buses.
Thanks for the comment Blackthorn Cane. Something different. I hope they are watching too! (*and subscribing 😂)
WOW, I used to spend hours on commuting and I lived beside a bus stop where busses started and terminated their journeys. This type of bus brings commuting and the noise of public transport to a whole different level.
Thanks for the comment Paulina. Wouldn't it make such a difference to everyone! Commuters and the general public.
Nice busses wander full callar Forond sho and out lucing is good
Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it
wowww
Thanks for the comment July seven. Glad you're impressed
Where is the charge port? CCS? How many amps and volts does it accept during charging? V to L capability?
Thanks for the questions Barry. Charge port is in the rear corner. Yes CCS. No idea on the amps and volts. Not v to l capable at this moment in time to my knowledge.
Ireland, like Malta and Cyprus, drives on the left. In Europe, most countries drive on the right. Car manufacturers, therefore, need to make special cars for these countries but might not make ALL models available. Is there a possibility that Ireland might change side like Sweden did in the late sixties? Cars might become cheaper to buy if it happens...
Thanks for the question Robert. Great comment but I don't think so. Especially with northern Ireland and the border. It would be too confusing until the UK also went with the same side as Europe
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Northern Ireland might be just Ireland pretty soon...
Goood
Glad you liked it
Where is the bell sound
My bad. Next time I promise
What is the cost?
Thanks for the question Jagdish. Please reach out to your local Higer dealer
Why did Dublin Bus just order lots of hybrid buses if the likes of these are available?
🤷♂️ No idea
Ask Anne Graham in the NTA it's them that decide, Dublin bus has nothing to do with it.
The windows don't open. Big disadvantage.
Thanks for the comment. I think with air conditioning it works better to control the temperature with no windows.
Move over ID.4...
Ha! A real people mover Steve. Thanks for the comment
Suroboyo bus
Glad you like it
Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Hydrogen is a waste of time and money. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric. No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.
Love the energy Kenz300 x!
