These look deliscious! Gotta be honest, though, the background audio makes for an EXCELLENT sleep aid! The highway noises remind me of my childhood home, falling asleep to the sounds of both route 80 and 206. Kinda soothing.

That soup looked low-key pre damn good, way better than a lot of the self-heating stuff in the west where the veggies would be the occasional slice of bell pepper or olive and in a thick stew with low-quality beef, that actually looks like something you could theoretically get in a medium-budget restaurant.
Back in the 1970s there were french fries made to be heated in a plain old bread toaster. They were shaped like a piece of sliced bread and you put them in the toaster and 'dark' and out popped you broke them apart and had long, thing french fry-like results. But, in the 1980s, there were microwave french fries call 'MicroMagic.' They came in boxes that had those crisper panels in them. They didn't get crispy at all, but they tried. MicroMagic had a whole line of microwave products, hamburgers, fries, milkshakes (frozen like a brick and you thawed it a bit on defrost). They were re-released in Japan in March 2020, made by Otsuka Foods. In the US, they were sold by Simplot Foods. I think your prawn hot pot didn't get up to temperature because it was sitting in rain- that kept cooling it down.

Interesting! Looked these up in U.S. and similar hot pots are available, but at two to three times the price, averaging about $20.30 SGD/$15.00 USD. Guess I'll load up if I get to Singapore in the foreseeable future!

Well maybe youre watching their videos that is located in either japan or singapore. Those countries dont have mosquitoes even. But they also made street food videos that may be the flies' favorite places to land on
@@arlynnecumberbatch1056 that's funny, there's 40 cases of dengue in a part of the neighbourhood I live nearby. A few neighbourhoods are in the red zone in fact, more than 20 for red I believe and a lot are in the yellow. Yeah, mosquitos are very well common here. Singapore is located in the equator, the best climate for mosquito breeding.

Either way the science behind this is beautiful and amazing. Im a food fanatic and food is my vice. Anything that helps me eat faster and without the walk to the kitchen I’m in.
The floaties on the pool's movement fast forwarded satisfied me.
The amount of plastics, packaging just for that much potato is annoying.
All these one-shot meals featured on this channel have so much waste that will never degrade.

@@Tepadj You say that like it actually happens. In 2015 the US only was able to recycle 9% of all plastic waste, and 3% in 2017. In most Asian countries, 30% of plastic was is dumped into the sea. www.epa.gov/facts-and-figures-about-materials-waste-and-recycling/national-overview-facts-and-figures-materials I'd also like to point out that paper is more widely recycled, degrades easily, and is renewable. And plastic can only be recycled so many times before it's thrown away, and at that point it will be on this planet for more than 700 years.
@@connorPiper0 27,5 % of plastic gets recycled here. Minimum requirement from EU is 22,5 %. Non-recycled plastics are used in energy production. Only 1 % of all waste ends up to landfills.

@Emat Waston But why when it most likely isn't the case? It looks like the vegetables are preserved through drying them out completely (so not rotten just dry until you put water.) And the flavors are kept in sauces and powder forms (those can go a really long time without rotting.) And the rest is usually something starchy, which naturally can hold up for years (rice, potato, noodles, etc.) So I don't really see the reason to complain about something perfectly fine???

I just want to say that after adding water to the heating pack, you can put the heated layer on it, instead of waiting for the heat to add it, which may cause secondary damage. 😅❤️

Frank Trinidad this is information i recently discovered but they both are women, the girl that tastes some of the food and the one that records the videos. I don’t have the account (because i don’t think its relevant information to watch their videos) but in their Instagram account you can see they are both women.
I don’t know if Faith was refering to this, but if you wanna know a little more i think people were commenting about this in their intelligent (or smart) mall video.
