Looked and listened to many videos and when I got to yours Vola Twisted the screw and the toilet stopped overfilling. Thanks a load. LOL
My issue turns to be the supply line. Thanks GOD, it was not a plumbing issue since it was just the supply line itself. I put CLR liquid inside it. I also used a tooth brush and CLR to clean both the supply line connection and that of the water tank (where both connect). Prior to that. I had watch other videos where I learned how to clean stuffs inside, but with no result. After unblocking the hose with CLR, the water tank is now filling in with water. This video helped me used my common sense to fix my issue. Thanks.
Very helpful. I fixed it myself. Very easy to understand. Thank u
Thank you so much! I adjusted the water level on the valve and could not remember how to put the pin back in LOL. You saved me.
Thank you so much for sharing this video I follow your instructions and it fix my slow flushing dual toilet
Nice video and very much needed instructions! Thank you.
Thank you for the most descriptive video. My husband is finally able to fix our toilet.
Happy to help!
It is very helpful. Finally I made it. Thank you.
This video was extremely helpful to troubleshoot my slowly leaking toilet. I could not figure out how to remove the flush valve to check the seal (which was warped) and I had a bad seal. Home Depot sells the Fluidmaster replacement seal for $2.99.
Mkkkooonnm.
Fluidmaster replacement silicone valve seal from Home Depot (over $5 for set of two) did NOT work for my slow leak. Free replaement from Niagara cust. service seemed a bit larger to cover holes better and was thicker and worked perfectly.
All I needed to know was how the blue cap came off the fill valve. I was afraid to just pull and break some clip or something. Very detailed video! Thank you
For me the cap just need some force to remove the blue cap- I also thought it would break but it was fine
After flushing, the bowl water level would slowly drop until it was really, really low. I just pulled out the fill valve (counter-clockwise as *said* in the video), cleaned it up a little (rust film all over it), and reinstalled it. Working just fine now.
Very helpful video.
Very nicely explained
What if its making loud sounds every time you flush it
What make of toilet was this as need a new washer for the bottom of flush mechanism and can’t find it anywhere uk
brilliant, thank you so much, Kapil, South Africa
What does it mean if there is mold coming out of the fill valve?
What an informative piece of video
Can this be dismantled completely to clean the insides of the Tube with some cleaning agent? The quality of water supply in our city is very bad and the valves gets chocked with calcification & iron...???
Where can I purchase the flush vavle seal?,I have a glacier bay toilet ,but my whole dual flush valve system looks exactly like the set up on your video. Imc not the original owner of the house so may have taken the original flush valve out.
Good job
What do you call the white tube going to the small pipe to the right? My toilet bowl has that small pipe removed instead of going to the pipe to the right
Is there a way to increase the water level of the bowl? Or can only the volume of the flush be adjusted?
Ever get an answer?
It’s very hard to push the flush on my new toilet, I have to push down 2 buttons at the same time easier than 1 button. Can you advise me how fix it please. It looks like the same of your displayed toilet’s lid and flushing valves. Thanks for your assistance
I have these toilets in my house, they were here when I moved in. Everyone who takes a #2 has to flush approximately 4 times. It’s been like this for years. I had no idea I could change the setting. I hope this works.
THANK YOU I was trying so many things and it turns out it was just the length of the flush buttons!? Do they just need to be adjusted every so often? They were never a problem before
Is there a system for a one piece toilet?
I got the part today for the dual flush toilet, but there are no directions on how to replace it I have tried to unscrew it with no success. Please hope someone will read this and tell me what to do. Thanks
Where can I buy replacement parts?
Is it just me or was the valve put back in a different position at the end of the video?
thank you so much
What is purpose of removing blue cap and checking rubber seal to see if it is defective on supply line? Does this have something to do with flow rate? Thanks.
I know this comment is old, but mine had a bunch of buildup under it and it was slowly leaking all night, no matter what I did. Pulled the gasket out and lo and behold, I solved my issue with a few seconds under the tap and scrubbing with my thumb. I hate these stupid toilets
I don't like them either. Purpose is to save water while doing the job of flushing. For me they are complicated to fix and most if not all parts are plastic.
I have a Glacier Bay 635-675. I have a slow leak in the tank that causes the tank to refill about every 5 minutes. What do you think is the problem and how do I fix it?
i have a similar toilet, i removed valve and flipped silicone seal and that did the trick
At the 4:01 mark on the video he says to turn it "counter-clockwise". On what planet is turning something to the RIGHT called "counter-clockwise". If the toilet is installed and you are facing it the tank....you would turn the flush valve "clock-wise" a quarter turn to remove it.
on the video, he had turned it clockwise, but when actually taking out the flush valve in real life, one must turn it counterclockwise. The person likely pre-loosening the flush valve in order to remove it, but this step was not shown on the video or may have been edited out. in my experience....To remove flush valve, turn counter clockwise several times and lift it upwards on each turn until it lifts easily.
In 2:25, what kind of "partial blockage" and how to fix it?
Yeah he skipped right past that.
Hmm, that 'unscrewing' action at 4:02 was clockwise.
Good
4:39 great pun "flush"

Unscrew the valve from the base. Doesn't show a video of unscrewing the valve from the base.
Set your float dude,
😇
Why the hell doesn’t come this way from factory??

Why would some one make a toilet so complex to fix 🤪?
I saved $3.00 this month on my water bill 🤪
Circa 4m00s; he says "turn counter-clockwise" but makes the turn clockwise. What gives? I turned counter-clockwise and now it's jammed and (so far) immovable. Why is stuff like this never as simple as the videos show?
Hi Paul! Sorry to hear you're having trouble - to help pinpoint the problem and for troubleshooting give our customer service team via phone at 888-733-0197 or by email at info@niagaracorp.com.
Sorry, it was a double flusher.
unscrew the column but you dont show that. some have the overflow tube right next to the column. all the unscrewing in the world wouldn't buy you the space to do so. wtf
Possibly the most ridiculous invention in history. The concept of half flush is totally meaningless unless you know how full the cistern is in the first place.
Hate it!!!
