  • I got this tip a while back about cleaning table saw blades. The lid for the Home Depot buckets works great to clean blades. It's the perfect size and the indention in the middle of the lid makes it easy to pull the blade from the lid. Works great for me.

    • @@TheReformationWoodshop I think it was from Stubby Nubs. I would have never thought of it. I just need to clean my blades more often.

  • In reference to your comment about those of use who use job site table saws. I would have thought you would know this, but TONS of hobbyist woodworkers use job site table saws in our houses and garages, mainly due to space considerations and cost. And, yes, we also do give a damn about dust control.

  • I did not try it on my throat plate I used it on an old crosscut sled but it was thick enough to make my cuts not square. It is useful but it need to be known that you probably have any to make sure the longer pieces will need some tape under the other end

  • Question about the Zero Clearance Tape. Doesn't the tape have a certain amount of thickness? And if it has a certain amount of thickness, won't your boards bump into it as you're ripping them? In other words, when you use it, your table top is no longer flat. Comment, please.

    • You are correct, it is a little thicker but I had no problem with it catching my material.

  • The best table saw accessory is the garbage bin and replace it with a Radial Arm Saw. That will do EVERYTHING a TS can do and MORE, more safely

    • Try ripping a board on a radial arm saw...very scary.
