The Bugatti Divo is a mid-engine track-focused sports car developed and manufactured by Bugatti. The car is named after French racing driver Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti in the 1920s winning the Targa Florio race twice.

  • I no longer have a place or feeling to be mad about dubious or sketchy restoration channels, especially those that handle large scale model cars. The same space for 1:64 scale has always been one of upgrading what you can easily buy at the store or restoring to original condition a vintage toy. There was never really a need to make models more disheveled than honestly expected, but it still is satisfying to see. I guess it just feels melancholy to see someone restore a toy Divo that looks in the kind of condition more believable of a real Divo abandoned in the desert than a toy one this soon after it’s release and as expensive as these toys can be. It’s a nice video, I just wish there was more honest upgrading a store model than “restoring an abandoned toy.”

  • You mean to tell me that in 2019, Bugatti began producing the Divo, meaning that model car manufacturers probably began producing models in 2019 or 2020 and that this model is approximately 4 years old and is already rusted to kingdom come? 🤔 Super entertaining and satisfying video but I wouldn’t really classify this as restoration. Maybe purposely destroying shit and then making it new again? Is there already a term for that or no.
