  • I like this style of content more. I like seeing the build process and the thought process, not the overly edited and highly scripted versions you guys have been running up till recently. This feels so much more natural and organic. It feels like a return to form for you, even if it's not a superhero video, this is still really interesting. I would love to see other concepts along this line from you guys.

    • @@Jimmy_Jones LTT has done a lot to make things better for their employees, including flexible schedules and more time off. Linus even took a vacation not long ago which is quite rare for him. They also lost a close friend/team mate a while back to suicide so I'm sure the entire LTT crew is rooting for James right now, Depression is no joke.

The superhero stuff is cool, but I absolutely love seeing you guys come up with some crazy stupid idea like this, and then engineer it into reality. Pushing the boundaries and asking weird questions is what makes Hacksmith Industries so special to me, and I'm glad to see you still got it.   • I believe James not being in the videos and recovering makes hacksmith a lot more scalable. being able to have a lot more of the team making content without James having to script and film constant content. I honestly didn’t enjoy the heavily scripted videos. I feel like this was a more naturally delivered and gave a much more relaxed viewing experience! Collabs are awesome too! (Video idea, bulletproof computer tested by demolition ranch)

  • Bogdan is a really good, temporary replacement for James, this project is just awesome and the exact type of insanity I love hacksmith for. Cooling a PC, using propane, and setting the excess on fire is insane but they still made it actually practically working. You guys really need to build LTT a custom all-metal PC case though for that. Anyway, looking forward to a lot more, ridiculous and fun projects. And lets hope James gets better soon.

  • 1:17 Pushing your computer harder draws more power, which means that it generates more heat. At a certain point, the airflow from the fans will not be enough to cool the computer so it will automatically lower the power draw so it doesn't overheat and get damaged. In other words: more airflow means more cooling, which means you can push your computer harder, BOGDAN!

  • I love Hacksmith videos but initially I didn't watch this video based on the thumbnail and the title. When I finally did watch it a month later out of boredom I was blown away by how awesome of a video it was! I think that is partly why it hasn't done as well as some of the others when in fact the content is gold. Also I love this video style! Keep up the good work!

  • Reminds me of the old propane jet beer cooler from New Zealand. The benefits of the jet were that it handled all of the combustion internally, so there was no propane or flames spewing out. The cons, though, were that it used fuel directly from the tank, meaning only things contacting the propane tank were cooled, and the jet was noisy, around 125 dB if I remember correctly. All in all, nicely done!

  • I love thos style of video. It reminds me of how things were back in the old shop. When ironman still used rocket engines and the powerloader was only 1 arm.
