Great video Matti. I've learned a lot from your videos and would like to share back. I learned that focusing one wing only on bombers is the best way to take them down. There are 2 "levels" of wing damage on bombers, the first level doesn't really affect their flight, but the 2nd level of damage makes their bomber incredibly hard to control. I've killed multiple bombers flying at once with this trick. Try it out and let me know what you think. Cheers! P.S. If going for a wing kill always attack from above or below so that you can actually hit the wing, rather than just shooting between the wings if you attack directly from behind.

On console you pull back the analog stick on the left to cut the engines and just turning as sharp as you can in circles works cuz I usually see lvl 30s as the pilots

kills dont equal skill, good job though. I'm rank #2 in Aus for PC and I'm still only like intermediate at dogfighting
GayLubeOil Ayy yeah I've seen your name on the boards (made me lol). I still get railed by some skilled pilots, but can comfortably take most out. I guess I'm saying you need some decent level of skill to be able to stay in the air long enough to get that many kills.

I've noticed the bullets in the video are very visible and you can easily see the trail and adjust for it. On console (or maybe just mine) I can't see the bullet trajectory very well. Is this a setting thing or am I just SOL

If you're high up in the air and chased by a beginner pilot, seat switching might still be a viable option even with a broken wing. Unexperienced pilots might be easily chased off by the reargun, turning away as soon as they realize the enormous damage they're taking. This gave me enough time to repair my wing and strike back on quite a number of occasions, so it's also dependant on the situation and your opponent's skill.

How do you make continuous circles? Are you using a mouse? With a mouse, I need to lift it to reposition in order to continue circling.
rebind pitch up to a keyboard key. as long as the key is pressed you will make circles. you really cannot go without this technique if you ever planning on being a good bf pilot
one of the things i like to do is to turn my plane upside down when im attacking from behind becouse im always lower than the plane so the backseat gunner doesn't really see me ;)
Awesome flying! how did you make it so you are in the 3rd person view and screen isn't stuck on the plane ? when I play 3rd person view and take a sharp left, or right or wherever, plane would still be in the center. Let me know, thank you

What do you do when a plane is chasing you? I tried everything. Nothing is working. I tired to turn towards him. But the enemy always gets behind me every time. On the mini map I see the enemy's plane icon. The a full flip instantly. Other times I see him to a full turn very quickly. How do you counter planes chasing you?
You do have to admit that yes you have help most matches, spots, wing-man, ground support. This is not a cheat it is simply good planning. Also you are an extremely an good, I repeat extremely good pilot that has helped me to finally enjoy flying in this game. It is although very difficult without the support and I have yet to achieve anything close to your scores, but I will. Thank you for helping me and others to finally enjoy the skies...
True, but you don't get recognized after haveing the same name for more than tree days. This has a major impact on my success, it only takes one player on the server to encourage AA campers. Thanks for feedback mate and good luck flying =)
I think the flying mechanics for the PC are way different from the console ones... From the videos I think they're more fluid.... am I wrong?

Their is a setting in console to make flying more fluid like in the video
If you are decent pilot, but seem to have a plane behind you that you just cannot shake, I like to use a little cover to try and shake them. For instance I like to use the tower at C on Ballroom Blitz and the air balloons and smoke on A at St. Quentin Scar to try and cause them to make a mistake. Really any obstacle can work, mountains, trees, windmills, etc. Or if someone on your team has AA or use the Behemoth Airship for cover. It doesn't matter if your team or their team has the airship since most players who jump in the airship do not have enough experience to kill you from the airship. Its all about seat time.
Bomber killer is my favourite I hit him my rockets and try to destroy his wings or tail and take me out with machine guns

As a another pilot of the game, I impressed on how you use the trench plane. I normally used the dogfighter kit on mine.
Dog fighter is superior in every way for plane vs plane but trench fighter lets you get a couple ground kills while you are waiting for new opponents

Something I've been very interested in. Occasionally you can blast a plane so bad that he bails before disabled and his plane just drifts through the air. Now say you're on a map with 3 planes per team. If you could bail from your plane and steal the other, then your team would have 4 planes vs 2 right?
A tricky and risky maneuver but would be amazing if you could get it down consistently!
in fact it can be done more easyly - JUST LAND and get out near ur pane - u can disable it on land if u want but still u will get 4 planes or even more))
Антон Неизвестный how does this work? Disabling it resets the spawn counter? I believe the landed plane would have to despawn some way or another for the next to come in.
i'v discover that i may land a few time ago - yes abandoned vehicles auto destroy after some time so i think u need to sit back and get out some times. on maps where only 1 plane respawns after 3-5 min when it's destroyed its not possible or takes a lot of actions to make but on maps where u can select from 3 planes at start and they respawn in 1 min after destruction it may work. timer activated when plane in non controlled by anyone but i dont know if u sit back in it will it stop estart timer or just put it on hold while u in. in fact i saw 4 planes in my team - 1 was mine and 3 other pilots pretty oftenly and i miss exact way of gettin 4th as i was busy in combat. also way we discuss now called glitching or bug using and may be bannable if someone saw u doing it and report u.

they really should make planes much harder to fly, imo it's a bad idea to remove 313 speed control, 313 may not be our best choice but still way better than what we have now. Dogfight has never been easier in bf1, but guess what, 313 is gone now, but rookies still cant win dogfight.
When going after a turning plane is it better to aim at the wing that's pointing down to screw up his monuvering or just aim for the body
Patrick Azzarella if you can hit a wing definitely. Best thing to hit is the tail. Once you take out the tail there is no way they can get away.
