Yooooo this was incredible! Love how you're Oscars movies have gotten better each year and explored new styles. I really liked the premise of this one, and Craig absolutely stole the show. This little film is captivating, well paced, and a ton of fun! :) Would've been interesting to have every character as fleshed out as Craig, but I know it's an improvised 3-hour long shoot, so you do what you can.
That's so kind! Thank you for taking time to watch it that means a lot. Yeah we wanted more with the other characters but Craig makes everything about himself unfortunately.
This was so funny! You and your friends are naturally hilarious, especially the audio guy haha. I also really liked the ending, it reminded my of The Blair Witch Project and the location was really unsettling. Hopefully next year I'll finally be able to do something with other people because this looked super fun to make!
Seriously though, this is like a mixture of Blair Witch Project, Scream, and all early 2000s rom coms. I am astounded!
Thank you!! I absolutely loved I Have Trouble Being Alone For Too Long last year, if your collaborations are anything like your solo work, whatever you do will be amazing. Also I'm 100% watching your next film the trailer is great.
Holy Crap! Well I guess the Competition is over now. I just have three things to say. Number one, I hope you have a good attorney to defend from all the viewers who smiled so much they are now semi-maimed. Number two, I loved how you made this flow so well, it grabbed me from the beginning and never let go.. Number four, my favorite of your lines, and there were many were, "They aren't shoes they are boots." and "little itty bitty pill bugs." I hope you never stop telling stories. You guys were great!
You're too kind Robb, thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it, I owe it all to my super talented acting / filmmaking friends. They improvised those lines like it was nothing!
Craig Dubin: The sound guy who's KZhead channel has the worst sound ever!!! Nice touch! Love it! Another third year, happy to see you back at it Dan!
Thank you!! Yes Craig needs to get it together
Legendary video!!! Probably the best found footage movie ever!!!
Thanks man! Probably not the best found footage movie there is, but I appreciate the compliment haha
Great film :) loved every entry you've made to the challenges over the years.
Thank you so much!
Man, you knock it out of the park every year! I'm a big fan of The Blair Witch Project, and I loved that this movie was like an alternative comedy version of that movie. It's amazing to me that you were able to shoot this in 3 hours. Such a talented cast, and such great shooting locations. I see great things in your future Daniel. By the way, I think I should let you know that this year, for my movie, I decided to do a sequel to your movie from last year. It's called "I Used To Drum Too". Sorry for not asking you beforehand! I wasn't sure if it would even work but anyway, I sorta knew you'd be cool with it. Thank you for inspiring me to make a movie this year my dude!
Oh my god I’m so honored!! I’m going to watch it as soon as I can that’s amazing!!
i love how craig dobon is a sound expert yet his youtube video audio sucks lmaooo nice touch
Hey Daniel! It was great talking to you the other day! (i interviewed you) Just finished watching and *spoiler* I watched the ending in an airport so on top of the sound everything was shaking, it made it feel very real ahaha. I really liked your film. Your friends are great actors, a lot of bits felt like what you would see out of a script, honestly really impressive. You all used really well the mockumentary format and the location at the end really added up to the experience. Also the snowing. Which is funny cause i dont know if you did it with it in mind. Congrats on the movie A last thing tho, I didn't ask you for the footage you would send me from the viewing party u had with your friends. if you still have it, could you send it? I think it would be great to include it in the film. Thanks! Benjamin
Thanks for watching man! I can send you that footage right away!! I should mention, I put up a behind the scenes of this film, there is a lot of great "on set" making-of stuff in there you can use in your film as well if you'd like.
@@danielthehuman107 oh that's great! I will check it out right away.
This was really cool Dan, nice job. You are 3 for 3 on these Oscars movies.
Thanks!! I look forward to checking out your entry this year!
nice one man 👍
What a fun ride!! I also didn’t know that George Washington’s favorite color was orange🙃. I was freaking on that location in the woods at the end. You guys are fearless and dedicated. “What IS that damn humming…”
Jeez...you've upped the game considerably this year! A really fun and irreverent send-up of found footage suspense/horror flicks that genuinely drew me into its own specific brand of unease. Made me very nostalgic for the days of filming fun projects with my friends on my old college campus. Thank you for this wonderful treat of a film! :)
Thank you for watching and for the nice words!! Yeah it felt really nice to just do a crazy and fun movie this year lol
"I just got the best audio of my life on a tree!" I DIED! 💀 Listening to this with earbud headphones, the beginning and end with the tenitus =👌 I just watched another found footage similar to this. That's so crazy and I love that they're two different premises. That dang weather!
Thank you!! Adam is hilarious, he's always dropping iconic lines like that. Thanks for taking the time to watch as usual. Timbre looks great I'm excited to get around to watching it!
