@@socalspirit805 they are talking about her at that time she’s different now but still amazing
gosh she is stunning
IKR she predicted the BOOK 1 era look lol
So beautiful. Now she’s messed up her face with surgery’s
This was Grimes in her absolute prime. Golden Era.
I’m so jealous of the people who got to see her perform live. How amazing it would have been to be there.
❤
SAME.I didn't even know ab her until like a couple years ago. :c I was a senior in high school when she did this performance;I would have loved her
@@annieenhshe’s gonna be in coachella
she’s doing coachella this year
Everyone saying she went blonde for Elon should watch this. She has changed her hair like a million times lol I miss these times in my life so much. Grimes was such an integral part of my teenage years, especially this song. It got me through my SA. Grimes has healed me in so many ways ☺️
She's said before that she started secretly bleaching her hair since she was 11 I think? And tried to tell her parents that it was from the sun lol
I understand about Grimes changing her hair but there is something with his exes or something and their hair to signal something.
who tf said that!!!
as far as im concerned elon musk is grime's husband not the other way around like the media sees
Yeah she keeps changing her hair colour. She just chose white/platinum right now coz she wants to embody her full alien fae form.
i think she’s most beautiful in this particular performance. her authenticity is refreshing.
being 17 in this era was my saving grace. i get to remember this
I was 16 ❤
The dancers are the best hype folks ya could ask for. what a great era of Grimes truly.
literally sooo much better than the pitchfork ones
she looks so ethereal here
Shes so pretty ughh
I’m addicted to her voice… and this moment in particular is just peak. She’s so herself and special. I love her dancing, and the dancers are perfectly seamless with her vibe. I can’t get enough of her tearing her scrunchy out of her hair just in time for the verse..
This song always gives me goosebumps
Bjork made quite an impact on so many musicians
Good thought I never connected Grimes to Bjork
Someone gets it
And Kate bush
Grimes, you are making my heart smile.
I am 59 years old and this song and Grimes makes me happy, makes me want to move
Me too
me tooooo
I love her too Im 50 😂
This song will still be a classic 500 years from now.
Yeah it will be there with Beethoven's 9th
It will be in the dumpster of history and that is even too good for it. This sucks.
@@MrLeadghostsucks so hard you had to click the video, scroll all the way to this comment, read it, think of a reply, type it out, and hit send. Get well soon, bud.
@lilballerina I have no need to " get well soon" as I happen to be quite well currently. In fact my success in trolling you actually improves my state. As for the song ( and your tastes) I double down that this is dogshit.
@@MrLeadghost I too clicked on this video, because I know that Grimes is Elon Musk's gf and I was curious what her music is like. It's garbarge. Elevator music for teeny boppers. Another commenter said "she just doesn't give a fuck." That's for sure.
this era felt like gold even when we were in it
It really did. Nothing has ever hit quite like this era.
Omg this is probably one of my favorite grimes performances ever, this seems to be the official pitchfork recording, do you have the whole set?
hey, check out "Genesis" from that year pitchfork on my channel.
It's literally utter gash. I'd rather have a tarantula lay eggs in my ear than hear this interminable dross.
Love everything, but as a dancer I must say , this choreographic setting is simple yet wholesome, authentic, magical, fierce... What a refreshing moment....in an era where dance and choreography seems to serve more a plastic aesthetic. We need more of this! ✨❤️ I'm in love
Exato pq é uma melancolia cada carnaval lançam uma bagaça de música que a letra tem 3 palavras, dá até sono, imagina em uma festa uma vibe desta .
i love the growl at the end omg
i’m so happy that she’s getting so much recognition bc she’s so talented and the world needs to experience her music but god i want this era back so bad
Pre-Elon. Pre-mama. In my hometown. I loved it!
I remember seeing this show in 1988 before I went into the military for electronic warfare. Best days of my life.
bru
😂😂
I saw her March 17, 1988, back then she was really just getting started.
I think she was born that year.
I want to experience this live her voice is just out of this world🥹
I miss this grimes
I don’t see her as any different in a negative way. She evolved.
one sees this and thinks: why is she scared of going live, she was one of the best performers of this decade, we really miss an artist like her even if she was alone performing on the stage she could get the attention of thousand of people. i respect that she doesn't feel like this anymore but it makes me feel sad nonetheless
Why? Did she say that?
She had a lot of stalkers and death threats since then
I lived this era. Such a blessing moment
Eres muy bello 😳
i’m not a huge fan of her music personally, but she is so captivating in this and idk how to explain it, shes got this certain energy thats so alluring or something idk
WE NEED THE WHOLE SET!!!
This Grimes is my spirit animal! I wish we had this Grimes again. This song makes me so happy even though the lyrics are really dark the beats are so uplifting. I love how carefree she is here and I love this song!!!
This performance is so perfect in so many ways.
She’s so beautiful!
I love that last note on the “I could wait forever” line
Kids these days will never understand how awesome it truly was
If you were a kid then you must still be a kid now
@@dannythompson431 it was 8 years ago
No this is so iconic the crowd went in on this
I love Grimes fans. Seeing them just jumping around feeling the music makes me so happy :)
WE NEED A GRIMES TOUR EVEN IF IT'S VIRTUAL!!!
It's great to see her performing with such a lively crowd, there are some videos of her performing with a quiet audience and you could see the difference in her moves
My favorite performance of this song, and it's one of, if not her total, best performance of it!! love her so much
She is so beautiful. I love her energy and her music!
Grimes makes me feel like I’m not alone
I love grimes bc she’s weird like me and expresses in an outgoing way fr
Que obra divina ao vivo, uma das melhores performances dela
First time I hear this song and see Grimes..I love it! I watched this video 5 times in a row! 🤍
glad she persevered and came out on top after what she's been through, great inspiration and awesome performance!
BEEN THROUGH? She sold out her integrity to F a Billionaire. Now she has more $$$ than God for the rest of her life. She hasn't been through a damn thing but being rich her whole life. Her mom was a Prosecutor and her dad was a Banker.
I miss this Grimes. EDM Grimes is not the same quality. This song is an absolute banger.
FR
Dynamite talent, layered, nuanced, authentic and pure passionate creative energy!! ❤️ LOVE!
aww i love her music sm i wish she still had concerts
minimal instrumentation, minimal stage props, maximum FUN FUN FUN 😄 gotta love her ❤
I love her. She's absolutely gorgeous. Inside and out. What a wonderfull person the world gets to love!
Now I know why my daughter loves her !
me encanta como hace todo ella misma, es tan habil 💛💛
she is so perfect
Just watched her performance at Coachella 24 and I wonder what happenned to the great performer and artist that she was.
She's dead
As a former fan, I can tell you this person is never coming back. She’s who you saw at Coachella now. 😢
Drugs?
🤭 this might be her best performance!
Damn she looks so beautiful in this.
Will she ever perform like this again?
God I hope so
Musky has prohibited her.
@@ramanmono Only Grimes has to decide it, no one else.
@@petersilie304 Grimes didn't want more kids. MUSKY said gimmie one more and there, a third child.
@@ramanmono Still, it sounds she was forced to. When I read in Wiki a few years ago that Musk already had kids with other women, I was afraid Grimes might be his next "victim", which, unfortunately, became true. In my opinion, she deserved someone better, but if her heart follows him, we shouldn't interfere.
rest in peace grimes. you would have loved grimes.
Stfu annoying ass she's stiil make great music
Wth are you talking??? 🤔🤔🤔
This is my favorite video of hers. I’ve watched it so many times because it’s perfection.
Saw her in 2015, was just like this. Had such a fun time.
This song is so nostalgic for me!!! And I really enjoyed watching her enjoy herself perform this🥰
Perfeita, rainha, te amoooo grimes
I just discovered this song and artist. I love it.
She looking so beatifull with this white hair! Magical creature! ✨💜🧚♀️
i remember first finding Grimes when i was 14 when i was rlly into EDM. this song srsly takes you to a whole different planet 😍😍😍💖🌟
It's Cool to see these people dancing. She has been doing her thing right from the start. Keep it coming.
Much love grimes your music brings me joy, a great magical moment takes me out of my mind ❤
The peak of her popularity. Makes me feel nostalgic for those years.
the definition of vibing
I will never never get bored of I am a DUI artist with a beautiful voice and dance skills ftw

The crowd, I love it 💫
Love her ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Serious creative artist ❤
This version is so nice,too..❤️ Love you, Grimes..❤️
I was so obsessed with that time, how happy it was, the golden era
the fact i knew grimes music when i was a kid and liked it but since im arab i couldn't understand or keep up with her and now she's my most played artist on spotify
thats pretty cool, I’m guessing the music had a new meaning when you listen to her now
I miss her
what a great performance ; grimes!!!!!!! 🤗🥰🥰😘😘
I love her sm
this was her best performance
her little jumpy jumps aww
i miss this grimes. I will always love her forever no matter what
Such a great time.
Love how the comments on YT always passes the vibe check when it comes to Grimes BUTTT I FN HATE that she has to see & responds to Tik Tok's 1000's of sh!t talking HATERS that obviously don't pass the vibe check....
Grimessssss has evolved and grown a lot!
Yes, but I like this raw version of her much better
@@timsanchez5834 same actually
Realmente quisiera poder tatuarme este video en mi mente porque en mi corazón ya lo estará toda la existencia, la amo ❤
It was one of the greatest performances of all time live.
she looks so otherworldly here
