My cat, Shadow, decided to surprise a mule deer buck. This happened in my neighbor's front yard with us watching. This is not the first time our cat played with this deer.

I have had 28 cats in my lifetime. Cats have no idea of size. Seen a number of videos showing cat just tear off a porch and do 90 mph chasing a bear who is literally frightened off. My first cat would attack any dog near her babies. On on the back of a New England water dog. Lmao

@@nullshock3381 you have no idea just how cats are attuned to the spirit world. Their heightened senses, reflexes and lowered stance allowed it to dodge the bucks kick. Not to mention the cat is nimble flexible and has a bendy spine that even if it got hit it would still absorb the pressure of the impact and displace it.
I love how the deer 🦌 was genuinely confused. Even gave the cat a few chances to reconsider his life choices.

It probably wasn't even meant as an attack. But for some reason deer will sometimes 'investigate' something with their feet 😅. It was the third step to him trying to figure out what the hell that was. First was sniffing, then came licking and at last the kicking
if you're a smart cat owner, from the very beginning, it is NOT sweet....youd see the red flags and signs of potential injury 93% of people who let their cats free roam have lost at least one cat due to a reason it was roaming free outdoors The leading cause of death in cats is Feline Leukemia which is picked up outside from cats getting scratched or bitten by infected strays but im sorry, pointing out basic facts and reality is considered "harsh" and "rude" these days
