I haven't played Bloodborned for nearly a year but dodging into attacks is still my go to it's why i suck at playing Wizard of Legend lmfao

Having Artemis appear in person in Hades 2 is just a delight! She’s one of my favorite characters in the game because I love her design, I loved how the developers were accurate to her lore, and even when enraged she’s still a sass master. An by accurate to her lore in the mythos, Artemis doesn’t really have any interest in pursuing a romantic relationship she would rather spend her days hunting and be single and refusing to mingle. It frustrates Aphrodite to no end because she’s the Mistress of Shipping and is already frustrated that Athena isn’t dating anyone since she’s practically on the same boat as Artemis.🤣
Makes me wonder if SGG is gonna adapt Orion to Artemis' life in anyway, and what version of the story they'll use if ever it comes up?
@killshot314 Honestly there could be a possibility. Back in the previous games, there were hidden Easter eggs on the various Greek Myths that were mentioned some by the Bosses, mainly Theseus, and even the gods. For example, if you get the Yarn or Ariadne, it’ll trigger Theseus and let me be perfectly clear, Theseus was a piece of crap who abandoned Ariadne after his adventures in the Labyrinth and killing Asterius the Minotaur, calling abandonment “Divine Intervention” or some crap like that! Luckily Dionysus took a liking to Ariadne and made her his bride so you’ll hear a few things he has to say when Theseus comes to mind.

@3takoyakis What you expect her to be decked out in shining armor like her twin Apollo? Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt she’s making her rounds in gear that will make it easier to move and to blend into her surroundings. Making it easier to take out any of her grandfather’s cronies while her father Zeus and the other Olympians deal with the rest up above!

Pretty sure Nemesis might be some kind of miniboss. Also Moros is so oddly polite, really quite enamoured with the guy.
I feel like he's set up to be one of the potential love interests. Even in TT there's something similar to Zag-Dusa dialogues (Melinoё plays the Dusa part).

@@ndemersI do think it'd be funny if Zag and Mel meet eachother and both realise they're dating the brother of eachother's boyfriend. Regardless, I'm just happy to have Moros around. He seems like a sweet guy and Mel always needs some more positive company in her life, platonic or otherwise.
@@teaz3139 It'd be an amusing dialogue for sure. Thankfully, SG denied any children of Hades and Nyx in their canon, that would've been unsettling otherwise, even if they're gods.

Looks like the primary use case for the Giga Moonbeam is going to be stripping the armor from clusters of weaker enemies. Worked pretty well when you used it like that. Can't decide if I want to get into the tech test, or if I want them to end the test and get into EA already. Probably the latter at this point.

I've been reading the Dark Hunter books where Artemis is like queen bitch of the universe so going back to Hades Artemis is quite a trip.
The only thing that I haven't been 100% on board with so far is Artemis, so sad she seems to be reduced to some special encounter that might not even happen in some runs. Hope she gets more action later in the development process.
I think it's likely that we'll see Artemis more frequently, once we start getting the rest of the biomes, that is. If it's the same as Hades 1 then the general limit is 4 gods + the extras (Hermes and Chaos), if it's the same in Hades 2, and Artemis is counted as one of those “extras” then that would mean she could show up on any run, even if you're already at the 4 god limit. (there also could be ways to influence her likelihood of showing up, similarly to how the keepsakes for the gods in Hades 1 would increase the likelihood of running into them, even if you were already at the 4 god limit)

I love seeing all the Gods from the first game and the new ones, but will we get official character stand-ins for Hestia and Charron? Or will they just remain shrouded in mystery and silk robes? Because I'd love to see what Hestia looks!
It's just placeholder art, they will definitely get different art. The first Hades had basically the same placeholders for some characters when it launched into early access.
They'll have actual artwork eventually. There were similar placeholders in Hades 1 before the completed game was launched
Charon in Hades 1 had actual artwork, so I'd imagine he has an updated look that just wasn't ready for the technical test.

Yes and, it’s been years between recording sessions. Both the recording equipment and the voice actors’ vocal cords are bound to have changed somewhat. I too will be curious to compare voice credits whensoever they’re available.

@@henriettereines6273 Aphrodite sounds like the same VA just slightly different. Artemis does sound like an entirely new VA. Maybe they just had them use different intonations or something? We'll see once the credits are available.

How do you keep playing? I have done 5 runs and cant continue in the technical test
It only counts wins so you can just die to the boss. Or you can alter the file in your computer… at your own risk

i need help really bad from anyone who knows what to do. after the 6th hades 2 run i did for some reason when i got to the stairs to start the run it says sealed and im pretty sure its a bug but if anyone knows how to fix please help
I think it only allows you to do 5 runs per save. So you have to start a new one to do another 5 runs.
The game explicitly tells you that you beat Hecate 5 out of 5 times and to consider your participation in the technical test to be complete, why would you assume it's a bug?
The game locks you out from starting a 6th run. I had to start again and only die to Hecate instead of winning after finding out.

Is it just me or does Artemis' artwork look unfinished?
the lighting is clearly intended to be different from the other gods on purpose, but perhaps they aren't completely done with the finer details on it. It looks fine to me though.
@@highcaliber350 I mean ok I get that, but still. The color palette looks extremely monotone and muted, not much in the way of decorative elements or contrasting bits. She looks alright, don't get me wrong, she's just 'meh'.
I think you're right. I'm guessing they rushed her artwork a bit, because they needed something for the tech test, and the default empty robe would look silly
@@zmk5374 the lack of decorative elements may be intentional since she's a huntress and not living on Olympus anymore. I think the design is perfectly fine, but my artists eye can definitely see how the shading and detailing could be improved. Whether this is the final draft or not, I'm just glad they didn't use the stock placeholder.
