PREACH!!! I quit teaching a year ago and do not regret it at all. I was a high school and elementary Special Education teacher as well with 2 Master Degrees in Education. I was also in nursing for 23 years. To make a long story short, I went back to nursing, and I LOVE IT!!!

Oh turning 33 was awesome for me. Loved that yr. I started my job with the Postal Service and bought my house and a new Ford Truck. This month was my 25yr anniversary at The Post Office and 4yrs ago I paid off my house. I'm looking to retire in the next 5yrs. I love your videos and the conversations. 💜

Love your kits! I taught for 39 years...am now on pension. It was a VERY stressful job but I hung on for the pension. Our Canadian pension is quite good!
It takes someone special to be a teacher and especially a special Ed teacher. ❤. I hear from teachers it has changed so much and is not enjoyable anymore.
It’s wild how it changed! One year loved it, next year couldn’t almost bear it!

Loved this video and your teaching journey story! I was enrolled in Ft Bend ISD as a kid, but then we moved to NW Houston before 4th grade, so I was in Cy-Fair ISD for the remainder of my schooling. I taught for 1 year and I had such a horrible experience. My “team” wasn’t helpful to me and I lost weight, was depressed, and had to go to physical therapy because I tore a disc on my back. I was happy for the income but it wasn’t the career for me. Now I’m pursuing counseling and I love it ❤
